Hello,
Is there any way to reduce the time mid-warp via accelerating / de-accelerating (I know thats physically incorrect, going for layman's terms here folks) quicker?
Ship mass / Agility or does having a higher "max warp speed" modify acceleration as well as top speed?
I got caught today by an interceptor while ratting. Literally, he jumped in mid-warp and was on me before i could warp out of a belt *Angry Face*

If you're talking about the time to go "into" warp (which it sounds like you are), you need to A) be aligned towards your warpout. B) accelerate faster (you warp when you are both aligned correctly and at 75%+ of maximum speed).
Regarding high-sec mining:

I think he's talking about when you go into warp, your ship takes X seconds to accelerate to your maximum warp speed (3 au, 6 au, whatever) and about the same time to come out of warp.
I myself don't know the answer to this question, although it is an interesting one!

All ships take the same amount of time to reach top warp speed and there is no item or skill that can change that.

This is incorrect. All ships accelerate at the same speed, meaning if you have a higher max warp speed you will take longer to reach your max speed.

I was unable to find an eve-search, but found a google search of this topic:
Answer :
1) The "Acceleration" is the EXACT SAME for all ships. Test: Take a t1 frigate and a freighter. align both and do a gang warp, they will be side by side all the way :(
Sadly, even increasing the max warp speed does not make the curve go faster :( Test : Take an inty and a Frigate, gang warp and they will be side by side for the first 9 or so seconds, after which the inty will go above 3 au, the frigate not...
Short answer : I was doomed from the moment he jumped into system and randomly picked the right belt.

Actually Gang warp will slow all ships to the slowest ship.

As mentioned above, Gang Warp slows the warp speed of the entire gang to that of its slowest member.
All frigates have a warp speed of 6.0 AU/sec, barring a few exceptions like noob-frigates and bombers (iirc). -----------------------------------------------
