South UK, Virgin cable 20 Mb 209.84.0.125.1935
barely watchable
nice to see the lag we all get on Tranquility is being replicated for the tournement. makes it a little more like what we have to endure in 0.0 fleets day in day out.

Your border routing has changed - I'm coming in via Level2/Abovenet which isn't normal. Normally via eurorings.
If I'm reading you right - then you are coming in via Level3 and that should be the case. Level 3 are the CDN we are streaming through (ie. the servers that you download the stream from are Level3 edge servers). -- |

Same. Forced it to use that IP and it's a whole load better now.
How did you force it to use that IP?

In C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS add this line:
206.33.34.125 evealliancelivefs.fplive.net
To force the DNS lookup to resolve that IP. (Not sure if this works new-fangled Vista/7 but on XP anyway).
However I've removed it again now and been switched automatically to:
... 207.123.59.125:1935 ESTABLISHED
Which is also working fine so far. _

i have been watching all the matches during whole 3 weeks in high definition and i am yet to see ANY lag from broadcasts. i live in easter europe, so there is distance to cover too, so if you are lagging, its your own darn problem, stop blaming peopel who are not responsible.

I had no issues with the stream. Watched high def with a few clients running to boot the whole time and not one issue. Unlike past events where I have run into streaming issues this one performed without a hitch. Also would like to add great job to CCP and the commentators for putting on a great show this year. ------------------------------------------------- - Sig

As is often the case, the problem was not at CCP's end... nor at your end... but somewhere in between.
Good job on being able to re-route and establish a steady stream to most.
