My rant is over CCP sort yourself out train your staff in customer Service/support and for god sake kill the estimated deadlines
You should probably spend your subscription money on therapy instead of gaming.

I don't ever usualy do things like this, but this is an exception.
The Tranquility cluster will be down for maintenance on Wednesday, June 23rd 2010 from 0900 to 1500 UTC. More information about the cluster move can be found in this. WTF happend with this? You also said that SiSi was gonna be up at 1200. As Sweden is 2h before GMT now, I've been waiting, and waiting, and waiting, all ****ing day, instead of moving it forward 2h all the time or whatever, set like 21.00 at first, unlucky if you get done before. You guys usualy may be 1gh late and that's when you say it's gonna be up in 16min 4x times. That is better. Consider this as a Emo post from someone who is ****ed off becouse he has wasting his time all ****ing day.

He does have a point. How CCP managed to go 8 hours over their schedule beats me. That's a full work day. 14 full hours to do something predicted to take 6 hours. They more than doubled the expected time.
EDIT assuming the time doesn't triple when they push back the time yet again

Caldari servers need a constant supply of coins to be kept operational, and Gallente servers go Skynet every now and then.
Minmatar is as good as it gets.

When you suscribe to a MMO game, you pay for game time AND downtime. The downtime is what makes the game better and better.

Anyone else get a sudden plex purchase email at 852PM that failed and then 853PM Eastern that succeeded? I ironically can't get into my account info to see if this is "real" or not.
Has anyone checked to see if any unintended account safeguards were bypassed during the upgrade? I'm wondering if this is just an old queued mail that suddenly made it out. |

I'm happy as I can be about the upgraded servers, leaping for joy in fact. Just be a little patient ok?
Clearly some of you have no clue about what relocating a server like TQ involves.
I suggest you take this opportunity to use a screwdriver and take apart the computer sitting in front of you. By the time you blow all the dust out of it, install a bit more DRAMM, and a new Graphics Card, Tranquility will be back up.

Lets hier brew masters to run servers, I know they will do better job. Dont mean to be rude but CCP but u suck at patches and any other server upgrades, I pay for your service and you should deliver.
Next time schedule 1 week downtime and we all be happy if server comes up on 3rd day.

I would like to add to this is that is always the Europeans that take the brunt of the downtime. Why not swap it around so that us Euros are asleep when it happens.
The same comment could be made about regular DT, why not swap it around so that it's in the middle of the US day. I have always found this DT to be really annoying.
We are all paying customers and should get similar service! |

TBH i'd rather go some hours without playing knowing their doing everything properly, rather than a rush job which could see potential character losses n so forth (since they are moving servers that store the character info) i'm sure they have backups but i'd rather they not risk it =p
Plus i'v been hungover most of the day so i only got up a few hours ago \o/

@ CCP: I did expect the 6 hour window for the move was cutting it a bit short, however the communication during these extended downtimes has improved by a great deal. Very nice!
