Oh goody goody, frigates are my specialty. I must try this. Tell me is it JUST about flying or can I blow up the competition? -Xindi Kraid: Delivering acerbic wit and scathing comments with just a dash of 'stab you in the eye' |

Tell me is it JUST about flying or will the pilots be trying to web each other? (I'm not entirely sure how well I can operate ECM while navigating hairpin turns)
This is purely a test of your flying abilities, there is no combat involved.

But if you want to, feel free to use ECM on me during the race in a 0,6 system.

Well whoever it is, it's not us. We actually run this venture at a loss after prizes, paying for marshals and other crew, advertising, and so on. The 5-10 people who sign up for the season (it's 10m for all 5 races, not just one) barely cover the cost of a single race.
Originally by: Joe McAlt I bow to your wisdom. Ill probably be there to watch. I wonder how many gankers will show.
Historically we have about one ganker for every 50 participants. On a normal race there's about 5-10 participants including spectators, so maybe half a ganker shows up?
You're welcome to come to the race track to watch, but if you're too scared to undock we are now working with evecast.tv to bring you live video coverage of the race, so you need only tune in at http://evecast.tv on race day to watch the race from the safety of your hangar!

Edited by: Jake Nistrum on 06/08/2010 16:51:13 I think you should of paid for more/better advertising as I only saw this tonight on eve news. I would of liked to join if it wasn't for the fact im so far from caldari space atm . Not to mention the fact its 70 min to the deadline to enter.
Anyway good luck to the racers.

Hi Jake, thanks for your suggestions!
There is no deadline to register, the check-in time is a recommendation but we don't want to prevent pilots from signing up last minute, so if you wish to sign up last minute you can still do so, or you can sign up and attend the 4 next races of the season.
As for advertising, I'd love some customer insight so to speak as to where I could advertise to help you see it?

I am in the same situation with wanting to join in but the best place to advertise would be the news pages, you just need to run adverts with more time before the race so that we all have a chance to see them. Instead of just on the day of the event. If there have been adverts in the recent news then I must have missed it xD.

I think you should get advertisements on those big signs next to the stargates :P
In space no one can hear you scream. |

We have no affiliation with the Interstellar Services Department. I do not control when or what gets published on the CONCORD billboards / login page. If you feel there is something wrong with these services you need to contact the ISD.
It is however true that I have received similar complaints in the past, and if the parties involved continue providing sub-par products I strongly recommend you file a complaint with their supervisors.

And really, Losvar, this was my revenge for S3R5! We are not going to turn this into a neverending vendetta are we? Hmmm, actually, why not, sounds like fun.
