Why resort to insults? Not only of Neu but of all our people? What you say is laughable. I had just left the militia (and have been kill-on-sight since well before my first stint in the TLF) and it didn't stop me from laying the final blow on Slave Tama's nightmare in Antem. The truth is, the Minmatar Militia spend most of their time in Amarr low sec, and certainly aren't afraid of flying through High sec either, despite those silly...erm threatening warnings issued every time we enter a new system. I wasn't the only Minmatar fighting for your people that day.
Not sure if you could read that or not Graelyn, so I bolded it for you. Hope that helps. And actually, the only reason I was able to help was because Miltia corps that we have set red that have us set red did not fire on us.
Mr. Shutaq made your point for you quite well. Who you wish to work with and why is your choice and I agree with you. So, why do you wish to undermine it with a silly statement like the Minmatar Milita can't enter without being pursued by your navy when A) that has never stopped us before and B) the navy never shows up to fight Sansha anyway.

Apparently you are under the impression that this ROE has changed. I do not fire on those who are actively fighting the Sansha menace.
Be advised however, don't **** off the Imperial Navy, as they have the power to change that ROE at any time.

The Confido now welcomes our newest member, Zero Heavy Industries. Their dedication to Amarr and the militia has been noted, and greatly appreciated. The growth continues and Confido grows stronger.

Minmatar Militia forces cannot enter Amarrian hi-sec without pursuit by Amarr Navy forces. As such, you have not been present to defend Amarrian citizens from Nation attack. To declare now that you will not do so, and to blame CONFIDO for this situation is a laughable example of the mechanics of a Tribal mind.
My laughable mechanic of a Tribal mind could have helped your holy ass not get holy ****d in low sec empire worlds. But of course the superior holy mind of the holiest of the peoples under the holiest of the empresses under the holies of the gods of holy holiness, didn't think of that now, did it?
Its alright tho, I know you hate all that is Minmatar because we remind your holy selves of your biggest defeats and I can live with that, and without helping your people.
Still, how foolish of you to put pride before the sake of yours.

ItÆs not hatred that drives us against the Minmatar.
In the past, Minmatar and Amarr joined with Federation and State forces to drive the Sansha to the brink of extinction. I cannot speak for my King or Empress or for the other Confidio members, but your offer of truce when facing the Sansha has to be met with a level of skepticism on our part.
Several weeks ago when the Sansha invaded Kamela, our forces and indeed almost anyone who responded to fight the threat were attacked by members of the Minmatar Militia and pirates claiming to support you. Our forces tried to make use of the attack to find (then) desperately needed intel but were prevented from doing so due to your militiaÆs acts of aggression. When we took steps to defend our system, you cried that we were at fault for doing so.
Later, when the Nation attacked your people on Auga, Confidio members (myself included) responded to assist, and were immediately fired on by members of your militia. Had you shown an interest in working together then, we could have fielded a greater force which would have saved more Minmatar lives. Instead you lost three hundred thousand civilians that day in Auga and tied yourselves up so totally that you were unable to prevent the loss of over a million souls on Frulegur.
Then you come here offering an olive branch but when it is rightly met with suspicion you turn to insults, claiming that we act out of pride. We are not the ones putting our interests before the sake of our people. Even when it meant that we would face the hostile fire of Republic or Federation ships, our pilots have made every effort to respond to help save lives.
No, it is not hatred that drives us. We act to defend our citizens from any who would cause them harm. That defense applies to slave and free Amarr alike.
It is not in our nature to hate you. But we do not have to trust you.

You'd have to agree that for cooperation to be had, a coperative agreement has to be made first, specially during times of war.
I was not in Kamela but I was in Auga and I saw Amarr military shoot at us, too.
But forget it Amarrian, I'm not gonna fight you so you let me help you.
Offer made, offer rejected, moving along.

Vaarun pauses for a moment, looking at some spot in his mind's eye. With measured cadence, as one would read a training manual, he speaks:
...in any situation, it falls upon the Field Commander by default, but each and every pilot should still be aware of the potential of all enemy ships and the level of threat they hold. It is with these parameters that primary, secondary, and subsequent targets are chosen. Not size, nor pilot, nor loadout is the sole justification for this determination. This determination requires a quick, decisive, yet careful weighing of all factors, on both sides, before choosing a target and course of action. Failure to do so in an accurate and expedited manner is the first step towards defeat...
Vaarun pauses again, letting the words drift.
I can appreciate the offer, no matter from whom it comes. But apparently my betters have decided the Sansha threat is not sufficient enough to warrant any cease fire or cooperation. Were we not at war, or the threat greater, it is possible things would be different.
But for now, for us, little has changed.
I do find it curious how all sides desire peace, yet continue to fight. How fearsome would the opponent have to be for us to put aside our differences to fight them, I wonder?

Wait.
To what end?
I am painfully aware of the animosity between all sides of all conflixts across our universe. I am also aware of how profoundly powerful this "enemy-x" would have be to unite us all on one side. So powerful, in fact, I fear we would would fall horribly short of defeating them.
Even if the Sleepers starting moving out through their wormholes to known space, that would not be sufficient.
Even if the Jovians came down from their peaks and took-up arms against us, that would not be enough.
The Sansha? A wrinkle in the fabric of history that our current, divided forces will still iron out.
No. The Enemy-X would be an entity of the apocalypse that we could not withstand. I theorize the only thing that would be strong enough to unify us all would also be strong enough to destroy us all.
I am a man of peace, but I am also pragmatic and a realist. I do not fight for the sake of combat. I fight for a cause, and the Empire, much less the universe, nevere seems short of them. "To bring order to chaos, one must bring chaos to its knees."

The only thing that unifies us all is the Lord and so it will be. You know that, we Amarrian know that. Whole races have embraced the Lord in the last centuries. How can you lose faith only because you don't see it all to happen in your short lifespan to be.
