I agree with Damar on this one.

What? There are plenty of decent pilots and corporations that play in FW. Just Fw is a joke in general within the EvE community. FW is great for newer pilots to learn, people to make isk, and pvpers to find pew. And like someone said somewhere else, there are a lot of wild cards. Plus, it brings activity to low sec, where pirates are also able to find more action where there used to be little to no activity.

Brilliant, what station was he hugging in Akidagi so you could apply all that dps in 1 minute?*

*This is sarcasm (Akidagi has no stations) but I need to add disclaimer here because people over in our front are notably lacking in sense of humor.

With all due respect to my Gallente counterparts, shouts go to Bi-Po, SOTF, Q-Cats. Please bring more fights to GMT+8 timezone whenever possible... My corp is dead bored in FW, due to lack of targets in our timezone.
Times that we can bring some good small gang fights <20 without blobbing:
GMT+8
Post DT - 11.00 EVE TIME to 21:00 EVE TIME.
Thank you very much

That'll be tough for us... Most of us are US TZ'ers who play until near downtime (which is 4-7am depending where we are in the US/Canada) and then collapse asleep. We're really the most active between 02:00 and 06:00, with about 8-9 of us staying up till 08:00 regularly.
11.00 - 21.00 is somewhat out of our timezone. Though I do think we might have 2-3 mythical morning people *shudder* that wake up and play at that time :)
Are you ever on earlier? like 07:00? If you are, you have a good chance of catching a group of night owls, especially on friday and saturday nights.

Dude, dont give the enemy any intel, wtf.
There will be no fight-arrangements. And not to tell the fleet, that theres a deal in the air, is like herding dumb sheeps. Thats just lame.
No arena, no rules, no deals. Just let it flow.
Learn to find your targets, check different locations, and try to escallate in specific situations/timezones on eve-primetime. I always get my blob-fights that way.
Noone wants fake fights. So if you want instant action, go for a shooter.

All that happenned was we had a 1v1 we'd been planning! Just some innocent fun, no fleet intel was leaked.
Edit: For futher verification, the km is here: http://gallente.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=7477948
I logged on a few hours later, I waited for him to finish some fw missions while we chatted, and some light pew pew happenned. Relax :) You can check my killboard to see I wasn't even online before we had that 1v1.

Edited by: Admiral Hawke on 31/08/2010 14:42:25 LOL, this doesn't deserve a FA!LD vs I.BS(all other CDI corps have dropped their decs) thread.
After reading a blog post from Hidden Snake this morning, there is even more lost respect for this "bus driver." He still claims us to be the antagonizing corporation that started the war, I beg to differ. It's been said, and said repeatedly...that he initially engaged Airric, at the time he was an Outlaw, to claw himself and his gangmates a T3 ship. Blah blah blah.
What hasn't been said, is that Hidden is so moronically unaware, that parts of his own member base are now thinking about leaving his corporation, his stupidity, and this war behind. They don't agree with the war and how it came to be. They know it was a cluster****.
Hidden makes note, that they've destroyed 3 of our t3 cruisers during this war, so what. TBH, it isn't about our losses after the declaration, our morale isn't dropping, our fight won't stop, until the matter is resolved. This is a war for morale currently, and his corporation isn't very happy.
When we told him we wanted the refund of the ship he said, "Get lost." When we told him that war was coming, he said, "Good luck, we outnumber you."
At this point, the war started because of Hidden's attitude after his own **** up, the way he handled it to now. He wants this war over, the CDI isn't even assisting them anymore, and we're not backing down. So, Hidden...Do you still think we did it all for you? Because now, you're going to get what you want. This war is now about you.
***Disclaimer*** We still don't think we're good at pvp.

Yeah I was wanting to 1v1 chatgris, I don't have time to wait for people to take an hour to ship/reship to form up a fleet everytime I want some pew so a 1v1 here and there, also 1v1's are so hard to find it's better that I prearrange one. 1v1s keep people on their toes instead of rollling face across the F1-f12 keys to shoot the primary.

I didn't spend long in FW, maybe 3-4 weeks, on and off over the past 2 months. This is from a completely solo PvPers perspective, who never joined any militia fleets.
Caldari seem to be very blob reliant, there is very few caldari players who will fight you 1vs1, even when it comes down to Cynabal vs Caracal, or other scenarios. There is also a lot of bad smacktalk on the Caldari side, I even had to petition 2 players for sexual harrassment, and recieved lots of sexually demeaning evemails over a short period of time from 5-6 Caldari Militia pilots one night, so I guess the FC encouraged it. Although there is probably bad smacktalk on both sides. Seems like a lot of better corps have joined it now, and the PvP quality has gone up, as well as willingness to engage and amount of solo PvPers quite a bit.
Gallente seem to be the better skilled militia at the moment, and tend to mostly fly expensive, hard to counter (without spending isk) ships like Cynabals/Vagabonds/Dramiels with Loki links and similar ships which are good at picking off people in blobs then leaving. Would be interesting to see how long the cynabals stay out though if Caldari start bringing minmatar Recons, with logistics instead of 6 Falcons to fights as far as t2 usually goes.

Fight last night in TAMA discuss!
The basic battle report from my prospective was: After spending most the night in nourv the caldari fleet was finally ready to form against another war target fleet in kedama. After a few rounds of hide and seek the Caldari fleet manage to gank brutix while the rest of the Gallente fleet attempted to flee. We chased the Gals for a few jumps and waited in the suj pipe. After few minutes we received Intel that the gals were forming a new bs heavy fleet. They did not however come up the suj pipe rather they choose the kedama pipe. Soon after the gal motives become clear, they wanted to take a friendly pos in tama. We spent what seemed to be an eternity re-shipping and reconfiguring our fleet. We were up against dominix heavy blob with armor logistics. We formed up a bs and support fleet with shield logistics. When the fight broke out we hit the gals from suj and nourv. At first it was generally understood that gals might run since they were being out numbered. The gals stood there ground and slug it out. Eventually gals managed to hold on the field and we were forced the field. We werenÆt done with the night and reformed an even bigger fleet to chase the Gals of the pos. This was accomplished and we brought in capitals to rep the tower back up and stront it. While we were repping the tower invicta paid us a visit with their mons. : P They attempted to gank one of the carriers and fail, but did managed to get a couple bs kills before leaving the field. Our fleet started to loose fleet members soon after that and by time the gals finally come in for a round two our fleet was running on fumes. Being heavily out numbered our fleet stood down. If werenÆt for invicta running interference we might had another epic showdown. Or maybe the gals didnÆt want the ôgood fightsö and brought in invicta to help them clear the way for their fleet to finish the pos. IÆll let the gals clear that up.

It pretty well-known that Invicta will sometimes work with the Gallente miliita. They've even been apart of the Gallente militia. If they don't have alts in it, they definitely have a friendly channel, where intel is shared.
And I'm thinking it was an I.BS tower, and it's dead now hopefully, because that would be funny.

I'll bite. First off, we were definitely interested in "good fights" - that's why we stayed and slugged it out the first time when we were outnumbered, as you mentioned.
We did run the second time though - we had half your BS in numbers, and you had 3 carriers :( We spent some time scrambling to see what, if anything, we could bring to counter that fleet. Finally, we were getting ready to counter with some of our own (we couldn't match your numbers, but we were gonna try anyways!), but by then we'd heard of Invicta moms coming to the field, and we knew that they would just chew through our carriers while yours were able to escape into the POS shields. (Anyone who thinks invicta is allied with us, they've taken out a cap fleet of ours at least once in Intaki when we were attacking a large POS. They go for whatever cap ships they can).
After that, we were thinking of packing it up but I brought the fleet back for what I thought would be a suicide mission - us against your 3 carriers and what would be left of your BS fleet. By the time we arrived back in tama, you only had 2 carriers left and maybe half our numbers in BS's on the field and you chose not to fight. (well, we got two BS's before your fleet could get back into the POS shields).
Then we spent an eternity shooting that accursed POS :(

Confirming CH spoiled my fun as well. We were ready to face your fleet hoping for another epic fight like the first one and several of us were very disappointed CH showed up.
Now whether or not someone gal mil called them in, I am not entirely sure. If one of us did I am a bit disappointed, we had plenty to give you guys another great fight.

Oh, a few points
- If any caldari miltia guys want your POS mods back, I'll sell them to you at Jita cost. They're currently in Tama station - If you guys actually want to put a POS up there - do it right after DT. The gallente militia doesn't really have a presence then.
And finally - can we have such fun pew pew every day without having to shoot at a POS for 4 hours :(

I would like to personally thank members of I.BS and Fai!ed diplomacy for putting their differences aside to try and save the Spacetime Enterprises tower. I really feel that members of both waring corporations conducted themselves maturely for the greater good. I really wish this civil war would come to an end so we can work together to destroy gallente scum. I would also like to thank everyone else who came out to defend the tower. It was a great fight, and if not for cry havocs interference, I feel we would have saved the tower. (On a side note, our caps were able to get inside the pos shield but people in much faster BS/BC failed to do so). I feel thats what really sealed the towers fate, too many people got picked off by the Nyx's/aeon and they took too long to reship before the gallente fleet returned to finish the job.
