Until 168018 everything was hunky-dory but now it just craps out. Anyone here able to run latest Sisi patches (168747) and not crash??

No problems here. Both 168747 and 168958 have patched and run fine. Am orbiting the station as I type.

Edited by: Kaliba Mort on 16/07/2010 03:03:04 If it works for you, you need to specify wine version
wine --version
Today (6.31.169390) I'm still getting crashes. The fixme stuff is probably not related to the NULL pointer exception.

use a more recent version of wine, 1.4x are out surprised you can even run the "stable" client with such an outdated version

Dude! wine-1.2-rc7 is 7 days old. They just taged yesterdays version as 1.2 stable. There is no 1.4 version!

Usually, a second log in works and station loads fine for me.

Would appear to be a rendering issue. I've set all graphics settings to low and it stopped crashing.
One presumes that we experienced differing versions crashing because we had differing graphics settings.
CCP are messing with the client something wicked at the moment. The in-game windows are all messed up and won't stay put and all shortcuts are gone.

I'm back on high quality shader again. Looks like it was just one of the many bugs with the current crop of sisi builds.

I've updated Sisi today to 171792 and it doesn't even start. Insta-crash on the splash screen...
Well, let's hope they get a stable version (like TQ) out for the mass-test tomorrow...

All gone. Back to TQ build. Looks like they're starting over with the optimising.

I've updated to today's version, 173608, and no more crashes
FYI, the version was downgraded to TQ few days ago for the lag masstest.
