CCP wants every user to have a cold, dark, harsh experience in the game and therefore its efforts toward service are naturally skewed. Polite and prompt customer service has to take a back seat to important things like redoing PLEX. Maybe if they steal enough money from players that way they will be able to hire some more cold, dark, harsh employees for their cold, dark, harsh universe.

finally a bunch of people who understand that this post is not about loosing stuff it is about the lack of support and customer care from CCP.
Like i said, its feedback, every great company out there listens to their customers and makes changes. I hope there are people reading this post who can do something about it because I dont want this game to turn up like Ubisoft ;)

if u find u computer freezing up then its desynching issues, if it just takes forever to load then thats lag they can deal with and are currently working on (like the long session changes of large fleets)
the disconnects are either from ur ISP or the regional node that redirects ur packets between u and the server, the server itself for the most part is fine and likely not the source of ur connection issues
these two things when combined with losses will never end well because there are too many free variables for CCP to consider it their fault and worth reimbursing
in the case of the server going down unexpectedly or database issue that make things disappear, ull have a much easier time
edit: if u do find tho that the source of ur loss is almost indisputably CCP's fault u can try escalating petitions to more senior GMs that will put a bit extra time into getting things fixed
keep in mind tho that the GMs are humans and have to be taught by the programmers about the ways game mechanics work and not all of them know EXACTLY whether a situation is considered normal gameplay or not

LOL nice comment, I dont believe I am being fussy, i'm paying for it so I expect a level of support. I dont need a shag got plenty last night
