I think the eve backstory is simply broken at this point. Commodities from Planets cost several hundred ISKs even after you subtract export/import fees. The yearly income should be quite a bit higher than a cubic meter of lifestock. On the other hand, it seems to be consensus on the forums that ISK is worth so much more than planetary currencies that you can pay your whole ship crew (which should probably earn more money than planetary dwellers if they are not slaves) with a very tiny amount of ISK.

I seem to remember somewhere that 10,000 ISK is the average yearly income for an entry-level job. I think it was mentioned in a chronicle somewhere.

In which case you would probably have to utilize the services of a bank to exchange your money to another currency used off world. ----------

10.000 ISK is a fortune for a average person. A chronicle in one of the EONs mentions that a crewman on a capsuleer ship makes 2.000 ISK for a 6 week tour, which is "More than what he'd make in 5 years at his old job".

Sorry but despite three 0s I am used to seeing a comma as the sep. So excuse the confusion, if thats the case I guess 400 a year is better then 0.4 lol
