Now now, my 4870X2 is in top condition with a well mounted Accelero Xtreme cooler and custom VRM and memory coolers and no part goes over 55C in full load. I play very heavy games and they run smooth as applepie on my HP LP3065 @ 2560x1600, most often i play CS:S tho. But just now, as i were kind of letting my drones slowly eat through some damping boats on The Blockade lvl4 whilst i was beeing social and managing torrents... not much load all at my graphics card.
This: (not overclocked anything) the red parts are none of your business, IRC etc.

I wonder, have anyone else encountered any problems with EVE and artifacts? I am running furmark right now pushing the card to almost 100% load without any oddities at all, but idling in EVE gives artifacts? Im gonna run LogServer.exe whenever i play EVE now.
Its kind of impossible to see, but there actually are two open EVE online clients in window mode there. And now im not gonna finish the mission before DT as i am running various diagnostics just to be sure. So the missionsite will dissapear and ill have to petition it. And a GM will yell at me that i have to finish them before DT. Wonderful.

At first I thought perhaps there was some odd Windows version of Avril Lavigne (a Mac client bug), until I saw your screen shots. I suggest filing a bug report. And include your DxDiag file.
Also, manga? Really? ;)

Edited by: Jenny Starlight on 16/07/2010 00:38:35 Yeah, much anime and manga, got a problem with that? =/
Also the artifacts i had might be related to some dual client error for windows, but in a more severe way. I just got graphics error on one of the clients so i took a quick screenshot looking at thesame ship on both clients.

Also as you can see i forgot to start the logserver.. I will continue playing like this and see what happens tho, mainly because i wanna see, if i get heavy artifacts again ill make sure to never forget logserver.

Am I correct in assuming that said ship is a catalyst?
There is a bug that's been present since Dominion with the Catalyst where it doesn't render the ship properly - was kinda hoping it would have been fixed in Tyrannis but it wasnt. The particular problem you are showing in your last post there isn't actually a problem with anything you have, as far as I can tell
The funny thing about this sentence is that by the time you've finished reading it, it's too late for you to realise it doesn't say anything. |

I see, indeed you are very correct.
If that is the case i might just had an extremely rare miscalculation on my graphics card that triggered it. Theoreticly that should be possible at least.
