...and took pictures and kept diary.
Ok, I have been around in a few wormhole systems now and recorded what I saw. This is far from a done deal but I am putting on the table what I have found due to the sudden increased interest in all things Sleepers.

My only complaint is that they are out of order, but thats just me being picky.

Btw. I am trying to update the .pdf when I have explored new sites. I am trying to delete the old file and upload a new with the same name to avoid having to re-link every time.

Thank you Pottsey.
I have already read your document multiple times and while it lacks a bit in structure it is still very informative. I further acknowledge the work you have been doing regarding studying w-space and have no intention in overshadowing your efforts. |

Your doc should overshadow mine. Yours has far better structure. I donÆt see any point continuing my doc if yours has all the same info but better structure.
I have no desire to work on a better structure; itÆs not how I work. I am one of those people who have notes unorganised all over. It makes sense to me but is a mess to everyone else.

This standing structure shares many similar aspects with modern acceleration gates. Whispers among Talocan lore-keepers tell of the TalocanÆs firm grasp of astronautical engineering, and this gate may offer some insight into this ancient raceÆs knowledge.
Just a random thought, there is an absolutely useless skill (as far as we know) in the database: Astronautic Engineering. Maybe thats required to do something here? Yeah, that sounds not right, but who knows? Maybe i see patterns in white noise.

Thank you.
I have been away from EVE for a month or so due to other duties but I might be able to finish the last few sites now. And I got an idea for new places to look for clues...

Have decided to take a tour of the primary impacted k-space sites, do scans and take pictures. So far, nothing truly notable. Have visited Seyllin, New Eden and Vitrauze so far. 0.0 Shattered Planets long haul starts tonight.
Oddest thing so far - I expected the systems to be lousy with wormholes but only found one in Vitrauze, none in New Eden or Seyllin.
Let me know if someone has already done this...

Ok I will tell, even though I have not done the exploration yet.
What is...
- the main power source of the Sleepers?
- the main force behind creation of wormholes?
- the source that propels the Zephyr?
- the thing that reacted strongly with Isogen-5 and eradicated Seilyn?
- the thing that Sleeper enclaves looks like and translates into 'Oruze'?
- a warpable object that people have a tendency to ignore?
Answer: The sun.
I am going to check out the suns of w-space systems for clues.
Sunshine...

I've actually been doing this for a long time now. I figured most people would ignore the suns and so I have been checking them out even before I realised their significance to Sleeper technology.
So far I've found nothing except that all the suns are aligned to each other through the wormholes for some reason. No evidence of anything being transmitted or transferred between them though.

I have no greater hope of finding anyhting at the suns as I fear the Storyline team is keeping back the answers until a time they decide. This, of course, means the idea of 'interactive storytelling' is "interactive" one way only; from them to us. Like some poor controlfreak GM.
But, with so many pointers towards 'sun' and suns being an object you can actually explore in game I think it is worth a shot. I btw. do not think the out of game research will reveal much.

To further reinforce your point, Kyber's theory in my own thread.
I believe there's some interesting news articles a couple months prior to the Seyllin event other people have pointed out that are amusing to read in retrospect, too. Sneaky CONCORD. |
