Now I'm going to start going there so I'll cancel out your boycott |

Which means we'll see two things happen: a) people dressed as Indians "minutemen" dumping chicken fillets into the harbor, and b) people dressed as Indians fundamentalists dumping the aforementioned "minutemen" into the harbor.
I'd pay to see those events |

Kattshiro wrote:I recount my first time at chick... Everyone lauded how amazing it was... I tired the chicken... It was not. Then they stated "The ice tea!!! Did you have the ice tea!!?" I went back... it was just horrible southern style ice tea with 2 pounds of sugar in it.
Long story short there's nothing special about it. Also I don't get people who started to go there just cause the guy is anti gay.... Who the **** cares? Like conservatives rushing into whole foods all of a sudden after the CEO wrote an opinion on health care.
You red necks hated that hippie haven not too long ago. (And yes it is full of pretentious hipster liberal **** bags... Good salad bar and surprising good alcohol selection though. Kudos to that.)
So much for buying/liking things based on their own merit .
You misspelled "tried"

Khergit Deserters wrote:FloppieTheBanjoClown wrote:I got yelled at by protesters when I went to Chick Fil A yesterday. Personally I think this whole thing is silly, and protesting over the personal opinion of the CEO of the company is an outrageous display of ignorance. I could care less that they're protesting...until they call me a "shill for the corporate hatemongers" (how cliche can they possibly be?) for simply buying a product I happen to like.
Today, a dozen friends and I went back to that same store to see if they were still there. They were, waving signs and yelling at anyone who approached the restaurant. So we parked right next to them, bought our food, and had a tailgate party about ten feet from them. They finally got mad enough to put down the signs and come yell at us and we had a great time trolling them.
Alas, no one took video. Best moment from lunch:
Hippie girl: "How does that HATE taste?"
Me, with a mouthful of sandwich: "Like chicken."
God, she couldn't have set it up better.
edit: those were some very angry kids. I don't know how people make it through life with that much rage. Somehow that reminds me of this PETA protesting bikers' leather story. Old, but still cracks me up. Talk about not knowing how to pick your battles....
OMG that is full of win

Ok, I keep going back to the biker story and I wish we still had the old forum sigs... I could do so much with this quote. Quote:GÇ£They peed on me!!!GÇ¥ charged one activist. GÇ£They grabbed me, said I looked like I was French, started calling me GÇÿLa TreneGÇÖ, and duct taped me to a tree so they could pee on me all day!GÇ¥
