lol what?
EVE's not been this bad with bugs and lag since pre-QR.
Tyrannis was half finished and I don't even know what PI was meant to be but it's not particularly social or multiplayer, and really isn't how I see EVE.

Edited by: Cire XIII on 27/07/2010 18:06:14 I find the tone of the OP leaving a bitter taste in my mouth. Your intent is understandable but your choice of words is deplorable. Please stop the "business as usual" commentary and take your vocal community more seriously. I thank you all for the replies that have been made by your staff, but continued attention and, more importantly, measurable action is necessary. We love Eve, but we are not confident in the direction those at the helm are taking. Please continue to restore this confidence and banish "spacial anomalies" back to the void from whence they came.

Well, so far i've voted for Stalker: Call of Pripyat. GSC knows how to spin an engaging tale, AND consistantly put out good content (Clear Sky illustrates the fallacy of putting out unfinished content)

I would have voted for EvE before Dec 1st 2009.
With that said:
Originally by: Cailais Unfortunately I wont be able to vote right now - would it be ok to put my ballot in say oooh...18 months or so?

It was with a sinking feeling in my gut I opened this years 'Vote for EVE Online' thread. I kinda suspected what was going to be in it and now that I ve read through some of it I cant say I disagree with much of it.
I remember these threads over the years, the replies used to be pretty enthusiastic and players would try to inspire and urge others on to go vote etc.
Not this time around, CCP.

Also, you morons need to realise your pet-hates only fall into certain voting categories, and to exclude EVE as a consideration from all of them is to just be a ****.

Vote for eve Eve wins More publicity More players Middle management justify this as them doing a good job More shoddy features roll out and we're left with the same broken content
Now if CCP fixed the issues and made the game run beautifully, then I'd vote and if eve won best game a number of times in a row with no new content then I think that'd scream a hell of a lot more louder than some expansion or the other. --

Sorry guys but Tyrannis is a failure. You don't get my vote. If the game still would be at the Apocrypha stage, then you would get my vote.

half baked clickfest PI system, lagfest fleet fights, old bugs still exist on top of shiny new ones, the almost bi-weekly "database issues". nah, no votey, sorry.
now if someone puts together a petition to tell ccp we want fixes before new content, i'll jump on that. you don't add another floor to a house that has a sketchy foundation right? common sense really.

see CCP, some expansions you do really well. Apocrypha was amazing, as was Red Moon Rising although that's going back a bit but I highly doubt you'll find many complaints about either.
As far as Tyrannis goes, you'd have done much better to not dissapoint everyone by promising a whole bunch of exciting features that never made it into the game.

vote for eve? not this time , serve your customers then get there apreciation, that would suit you alot better than go begging for votes and showing you dont care **** about what your customers think or say to you.

Yeah, I agree.
It really hits home when so many people from so many political backgrounds in Eve have the same opinion.
As for me. I voted, and I voted for Eve.
In the end, if CCP are gonna fix things when they get their heads together, they need the community behind them.
