In order to link Incarna with in-space pvp and general intelligence gathering to be used in space I was thinking that it would be cool to be able to travel to the the location of any player's ship bay that is currently docked up in a station and from the outside corridor use a scanning device to list the ships + fits which are inside and information on what ship is currently active a.k.a. ready for undocking.
Of course this would be of fairly limited use and being able to enter someone's bay and/or steal stuff would be much more fun but probably out of the question anyway. Still, the 100% safety people enjoy in stations currently could use a small disadvantage; You can dock up to avoid pvp but people ARE able to find out stuff about your ships and fits.
I understand that probably these 'outside of bay corridors' would have to be generated / instanced as a stations population shifts constantly but this could easily be done with the use of an elevator which drops you off at the 'right floor'. Discovery would give the renter the option to alert security or maybe violence you himself.
Maybe some station computer hacking skills would be required to be able to get access to the list of bay locations / elevator access codes.
I wonder if people have additional and better ideas to link Incarna with in-space benefits.
I am also thinking of in-station corporation and alliance HQ's and the option to infiltrate them and overhear conversations with for example; hacked security tags which project a false corp name on your avatar. (This would allow the owners to kick you out violently if discovered).
Derp.
Add ideas if you have them.

Wait until incarna is released before you suggest ideas for it.

Completely negates the idea of limited/full API. How about the ability to hack password and login from CCP servers while your at it?

And docked up players can do a total of three things: 1) Station spin 2).01 isk wars 3)Smacktalk/local intel gathering. And you could just as easily google someone for a killboard stat, which then tells you what ships they fly, which is a general indication of their skillsets and what modules they typically use. With out the time invested for Double Agent (4x) skill set.
I honestly think Incarna is a waste of time. Jita in station will consist of hot and muggy weather with 90% chance of lag, while those stations 30+ jumps away deep in Kador will hardly be used. Unless in station combat, arena dueling, CounterEVE, or HALO/EVE Wars is implemented (Dust514 type in station combat without a console) it just wouldn't be benificial to hop out of my pod for a stupid romp around the Promenade looking at 12 year old girl avatars made by 20+ year old basement rats that never hit puberty
