Would you share your experience about financial side of corp management. In particular, how do you solve the problem of payouts after corp mining ops (miners, haulers, combat pilots) and splitting manufacturing revenues? Thanks

Hey! Seems you've found the forum section that actually sometimes gets you useful replies after all!
As I said before, i'm rather fond of a system where you just register who spends how much time on corp business, and then just sharing corp profits based on that. Doesn't reward the most productivre, high SP, members as much as they might deserve. But, then again, they're pretty likely to make plenty of ISK from their solo play.
Other methods might be possible, but, TBQFH, I've never tried another method. Maybe someone else will come up with something brilliant? Your signature exceeds the maximum allowed dimensions of 400x120 pixels and filesize of 24000 bytes -Sahwoolo Etoophie |

In my previous corp we used a browser-based app that you logged into once you joined, then logged out of when you left. Whoever was running the mining op would collect all the ore at the end, enter that number into the app, as well as current market value (minus corp tax/cut). The app then calculated who deserved what share of the ISK based on how long they were part of the op, and what ship they were in (i.e. Hulk and Orca would generate a larger share than mining frigate or a combat ship, etc.).
Worked pretty well overall, allow the corp to run day-long mining sessions without too much headache.
That said, I can't recall the name of the app.

Yup, thank for the suggestion of changing the forum. And of course thanks for sharing.

Valoric's solution sounds like the easiest. In my first corp, we'd count up the total take and split it evenly with everyone that participated over the course of the mining op. Or, more often than not, we'd just donate it to the corp to save up for BPO or corp ships; whatever needed doing.
In my current corp I have a sexy web app that keeps track of how much ISK everyone has done during a given mercenary contract and it spits out a %. Still have to manually transfer the money but it takes the math out of it and speeds up the process to manageable levels. ---

Would you care to share the web application, please?

As I remember, Mining Buddy used to work only under Linux. Has this changed now and can I used it under Win7?
