I recently was contacted by a senior member of the Angel Cartel regarding capsuleer expansion.
The following transmission was shown to me, however a portion was destroyed during an attempted suicide attack on my Malediction-class Interceptor.
I believe the agent wanted to make this known.
... Incoming transmission from unknown source.... >>>>>Transmission origin - Domination Headquarters - Utopia>>>>>>>>>
It has been determined that through observation of capsuleer actions that capsuleer-run corporations be sanctioned to conduct business in the name of the Cartel.
Expanding our organization is the best way to continue striving towards our goal of dominance in this cluster.
Actions we wish for you, as Cartel members, to take:
- Disrupt the isk flow and demoralize Empire capsuleer Militia forces - Attack high value targets in random high security space to spread CONCORD's presence - Attack Empire supporters and all those who pose a threat to Angel Cartel income streams (I.E. The Star Fraction and others) - Assist Angel forces in Curse and surrounding regions in weakening the Russian deathgrip on our home space to help drive them out. - Disrupt Nation supporters' mobilization efforts - Establish independent revenue stream through trafficking, mercenary contracts, slave trade, etc
Corporations will fall under the Capsuleer Division of Dominations and all actions of said corps are considered to be a direct representation of the Cartel.
The following CEO's are to be contacted regarding expansion:

"Russian" is a slang term used by many pilots (and obviously the Cartel) to describe certain groups of alliances. I personally, have no idea on what criteria they must fulfil to be placed in this group, but I'm sure someone else will.

They use another form of communication protocols that the translators don't seem to be able to deal with. Perhaps its additional security, or perhaps its just archaic ritual, I expect its a little of both.
Anyway, yes the "Russians" are a sub-culture of Capsuleers, often found far from Empire space in the outer regions. The only thing I have found they all share in common is the peculiar comms chatter I spoke of earlier.
Angel Cartel branching out huh, well thats interesting. Not entirely sure why your targeting The Star Fraction, I know we don't have good standings with the Cartel but I wouldn't have imagined we'd be a primary target.

Edited by: Lady Lard on 03/08/2010 15:51:14 Thank you very much for clearing up the confusion. By "Russian" I meant the alliances who typically gather on the fringes of outlaw space.
The war declaration on the Star Fraction was more a matter of symbolism than anything else. I wanted to send a message that although we, as a corporation are young, are afraid of noone and that no alliance or corporation can hide once we set our sights on you.
So, let's get ready for some good fights, shall we?

For those of you who look to slavery as an evil, abusive thing, keep this in mind. The CartelÆs treatment of slaves is far more abusive than even the harshest Amarrian Holder. They have no central authority to prevent cruelty or misuse of their slaves. Their trade in ôsapient livestock ô is nothing like the Amarrian method, which is tempered with the love of God. Slaves to the Cartel are merely property and not very important property either.
The Cartel had a chance at becoming something better than they were. I am disappointed, but not surprised to hear this message
While I can appreciate the CartelÆs interest in hampering the efforts of groups like Star Fraction and the Nation, they are still a criminal organization. As such, I would remind Cartel members that any acts of piracy or terrorism in Khanid space will be met with deadly force.

Hmmm...
The Cartel had a chance of becoming better than we were... and we did. We rose from the ashes of Jovian-ruled Curse and earned a reputation as the most vicious, unrelenting, professional and highly organized criminal organization in the galaxy.
And with the addition of capsuleer corporations, we grow only stronger.
We will test your "might" soon enough, Amarr outcast. Soon enough...

It's not as though he can actually kill us very readily with that deadly force, is it, Nikita?
Perhaps we can see about a joint response, when it comes to that. For now: war under the flag of the Cartel against the Star Fraction, symbolic or no-- ah, how can I possibly resist?
And if our growth continues apace, we may just have to see how long this war remains symbolic. One way or another, seeing what happens next should be, at minimum, great fun.

The cartel has allways encuraged competition between their affiliates to trim the "fat" so to speak, and from my experience in hale constelasion many of darkside pilots organisation are well liked by the cartel tho ill still engage their ships if our paths cross.
On the topic of slavery and the cartel many of their latest affiliates in sub contactor corps are ex-thukkers (Thukker outlaws), and do not view it as slave trading but more serving justice against pilots from amaar and federation meddeling and the cartel do not care about what race or standing if you have crossed them.
And to those hostile to the cartel that feel to venture into their space.........the region aint named curse without reason.

Personally, I'm at a loss to explain why every bunch of upstart pirate wannabes decides to flock to amamake. It must be something in the water.
As for "demoralizing" the Militia, you'll have quite the job on your hands. The amamake denizens are usually beneath our notice until we get bored. You'll be just another flash in the pan corp that spends all its time baiting in 3-1 and squabbling over the Osoggur gate with all the other locals.
Good luck ganking haulers and rookies, though.

Ah, you must be so wise as to have figured out exactly where we are headed.
Except... it's not the only place where we're headed? We are headed to the low sec area to battle against TSF, not bother with the 2000 alliances and corps in Amamake.
Did I ever mention Minmatar exclusively? No, I did not. We will maintain a presence everywhere. Noone is safe and that is what this declaration of war is all about.
We are the all singing, all dancing crap of the world. We are everywhere.

As such, I would like to remind you that the Cartel and the Kingdom don't have such... bad relations as you're making them sound. Besides, I think the area around Irmalin has bigger issues than that. Save some rhetoric, brother.

Well. Will wonders never cease.
Probably not, no. At least, not that I've noticed.
"Lady Lard," AKA Alexander Rykis (I'm going to have to have that explained to me at some point) has shown more ... what would be the word ... "jutzpah" than the Cartel capsuleer leaders hitherto, myself firmly included.
We have tried caution. We have tried care and preparation. We have tried deliberation and measured steps.
At best, we have maintained meager size and influence. Small. Inoffensive.
Could anything be less appropriate to the Angel Cartel?
Audacity has its place. If this former Goon believes in his (or her) ability, there is no reason not to observe the demonstration. Be the result bright glory, dismal disintegration, or even some Demented joke, I mean to enjoy this to the very last.
You know my fondness for experiments, Vikarion. Last year, the Synenose Accord. This year, perhaps a meditation on chaos and inspiration.

Thank you very much for the kind words, Aria. I am both thrilled and hono(u)red to have you on board.
First, Alexander Rykis is my birth name. Lady Lard was a callsign given to me while in Goons as a troll/gimmick/joke regarding former Band of Brothers pilot Lady Scarlet. After working with the Goonswarm Intelligence Agency for some time, the name stuck and became an alias of sorts. A picture of an overweight Achura was posted on the information database to hide my true identity. I have no way of changing the name listed in the database or the picture, so now I'm kind of stuck with it for now.
Second, What I have noticed in the other Angel capsuleer corporations, with the exception of one, is the lack of any drive or direction.
A corporation who's membership has stagnated and isn't actively pursuing growth is, frankly, an insult to the Cartel and should be made examples of. The Cartel is all about domination through sheer power and professionalism. I do not see any corporation flying under the Cartel banner that exemplifies these qualities, except for one.
I did this because I saw an opportunity and I grabbed at it. Resistance Project will become THE dominating corporation under the Cartel banner within 60 days. We WILL be known throughout the galaxy as vicious, unrelenting, professional masters of all things criminal. Pilots in the cluster will want to deal with Angels directly, rather than go through us once I am through with them.
I am the epitome of organized chaos and my corporation will be no different. If you are not blue, you are a target... and we have a very very small blue list.
I am eternally grateful for the support that much of the community has offered and looking forward to dealing with many of you more in the future. The addition of Aria to my staff will surely prove to be an invaluable asset and I cannot foresee myself accomplishing my goals without her assistance. There are a few more of you out there who I would like to add to the staff of making this happen and I have been in contact with you.
If you consider yourself to be an Angel Cartel loyalist, now is your time to return home and fight for the Cartel. Please, join me in making the capsuleer extension of the Cartel the most feared in the galaxy.
Thank you for your time.

Ah, friend...
You best watch your tongue, lest someone rip it out to teach you a lesson in manners.
My pseudo-interest in the Nation was more an attempt to gauge the likelihood of inserting an intelligence asset. Once I realized their procedure with implants makes this near impossible, I dropped it altogether.

This still don't help on my viewpoint that you are wholy untrustworthly, if oats of loyalty can be made that lightly and dropped just as fast.

Do you think that Tarac Nor publicly announced his loyalties to anywhere other than Ushra'Khan? No, his loyalties were elsewhere.
Now, I do not enjoy having my loyalty called into question, in a public forum no less, and I will not have it done by some... self-righteous Amarrian looking for a pat on the head and a gold star from someone.
