I am sad to announce the untimely death of a capsuleer, Carver Jonsonn. On July 24th YC 112, Mr. Jonsonn was installing a new generator at his base of operations when a heart implant failed, and he suffered a cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, medics were not able to transfer his consciousness in time. Born in YC30, in a remote area on Couster IV, he dreamed of a life of adventure. Wanting to become a race car driver, or an astronaut, he moved to Gallente Prime to study Aeronautical Engineering. While in the University he married Mara Burdat. After graduating he decided to settle down and have a family.
After many years, he applied for the Capsuleer program. He was initially rejected. It was only after a letter of recommendation from his grandson and fellow capsuleer, Astranar Valeera, and a strong background in engineering that he was accepted, with a few restrictions. At 82 years of age he was one of the oldest, if not the oldest, to be issued a capsuleer's license. He was told that in order to fly, he would have to have an device implanted into his heart that regulated the rhythm, and he was not to engage in any strenuous or dangerous activities until cleared.
Finally he was a pilot, an astronaut, a capsuleer. Immediately he joined EVE University in the hopes of learning what it means to be a pod pilot and gain knowledge of the endless possibilities. As he continued to listen and learn, he realized that a life of industry and science suited him best. He began to concentrate his studies in these areas. Eventually, Mr. Jonsonn graduated from EVE University and went to join his grandson, Astranar Valeera, on epic adventures.
Continuing to enhance his piloting skills, Mr. Jonsonn became a heavy industrialist with a keen eye for numbers and calculations that would make even quantum computers struggle.
After frequent power outages at his base of operations, Mr. Jonsonn decided to install a generator. It was during this time that the heart implant catastrophically failed. Medics were called, but were too late. Unfortunately his consciousness did not transfer to a new clone. Doctors believe this may have been due to his physical age.
Carver Jonsonn leaves behind his wife Mara, four children, and five grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
So Say We All!

At night a million stars in the sky, Safe anchorage in an islands lee
When the time comes to die as for all it must, To awake in Sailors Heaven where nothing ever rusts
And always there would be, Fair winds and a following sea

Monistat - that is beautiful. thank you
Apo - this is serious. he really was my grandfather, and he really did die of a heart attack. Everything in it is true except for the names of people and places. I just though it would be a nice thing to do for him.

Day is done, gone the sun, from the lakes from the hills from the sky, all is well, safely, rest, God is near.
Fading light, Dims the sight, And a star gems the sky Gleaming bright, From afar, Drawing, near, Falls the night.
Thanks and praise, For our days, Neath the sun Neath the stars Neath the sky, As we go, This, we, know, God is near.
