I'd just love to see CONCORD take 24hrs off (probably involuntarily, ofc) and come back to find all systems (except maybe empire capitals) have taken a -0.1 sec rating hit. Permanently. I'm sure many of you could appreciate how that would shake things up!

Sleeper consciousness fragments are retained in the implants? Who cares about a few ghosts in the machine.
We are committing genocide? Well it isn't like we are stripping defensless stations of their hull plates. Frigate, cruiser and battleship class sleepers are in every site. I'd say it is a simple war. The sleepers are just loosing
I say let these....sleeper troops come. My Mega-pulses will be charged and waiting. I live in a wromhole, and I'm not going anywhere, anytime soon. |

As CONCORD is considered the "king" amongst the four "princes", your interpretation could mean the end of high-sec as we know it. That would be an apocalyptic event and immensely entertaining. I'd love to see CONCORD take the week off, but then come back and start running "incursions" into low-sec in reprisal for the inevitable tide of criminal griefing that they return to find.

yes, they played with their genetics so much that they accidentally removed some of their primal instincts, which sometimes leads to the jovian disease which makes the victim lost the will to live. They an no longer reproduce quickly either so they are slowly going extinct. Who knows, maybe theyr going to want to do all the crazy **** they've never done before they die, like go on a giant cluster wide gankfest and just facerape concord and the empires with their super advanced tech. i know, that would be immature of them, but thats my 2 isk

Or because they went mental from a similar device to the implants. What we do know about the Jove's is that they are a highly advanced race, extremely smart (but mental), maintained a space faring, they hold a lot of secrets, and GAVE a technology away for free taught the rest how to build it and we are fearful that it is a trick.
Flip side the Sleepers: Advanced ancient race, "downloading" thoughts and ideas, thoughts perceived as mental but able to tactically choose a target in defense, maintained space faring, hold a lot of secrets.
Is the reason Sarum giving the technology away similar to the reason's why the Jove been doing the same? Are they trying to keep us from this technology before it got so ingrained in our culture and only catch it to late like they did? As in standard rats upgraded to (part of) sleeper AI?
I think they're already pondering that , and already for winter ;)

Some things are just done because they need to be done, and not because they somehow tie into the plot.
..anyway, good read. Maybe I was actually sleeping in front of my computer and dreamed I posted. Certainly, it's not there now. |

Bit late but I had a question. Why did Jamyl seem unsure of Heth's survival? It seemed a more imminent concern than something to do with his Derj's Disease. Any ideas? |

He is the only leader that is not a capsuleer/using clone tech. His disease prevents cloning. |

True, but sometimes (quite often actually) the ones that write the plot gets told in advance about stuff that are about to be done.

Oh damn I can't wait for more developments.
Is there gonna be a tie in with how Sansha Kuvakei got the ability to make wormholes via incursions? What about 514? Is it akin to a lost sleeper conclave? Are rogue drones gonna help with a sleeper invasion of k-space?

Which is odd, seeing as Amarr royalty cannot be cloned, but that's going back to how Sarum came to power, and I'm sure you all know THAT story.

Thanks! That makes perfect sense. I knew about Jamyl having used cloning technology and that Heth could not due to his illness but I was not aware (or had forgot) that Roden and Shakor were also equipped for cloning. |

Jamyl's use of cloning tech/capsuleer status was a big issue for the Theology council when she returned, as they tried to block her ascension to the throne. If she had not just 'saved Amarr' from the Minmatar Elders invasion then she would not have had the public support that forced the Theology Council to back down and allow her coronation.
Heth is the odd one out as the only truly mortal head of state, which is a bit of an odd disconnect sometimes as the four 'mortal' empires are being mostly ruled by immortals, and yet all have issue with the capsuleers. Guess like all Capsuleers they are competitive and don't want to share the power. ;) http://uglebsjournal.wordpress.com/ To contact [-MM-] or [UNITY]: http://www.masuataa.co.uk/defaul1t.asp - channel "Masuat'aa Public" http://www.ushrakhan.com/ - channel "Voices U'K" |
