Ok guys we have moved into a Deep C5 which has a great 85% RR bonus+Cap bonus but has a -40% local active tank, so my challenge for you all is to come up with a Safe [no ship loss] Group setup with as least ships ass possible.
We have carrier options but dont want to bring more than 1 in, we have Logi`s but only 3 ATM and we have upto 6 BS pilots all who can fly diff Races etc. But in the scheme of things I`d count on 1 Carrier 3 BS 1 Logi, IYO is this enough? What combo would you do of any ship types, also for guys who live in C5 what is your Group makeup and what is your skelekton crew?
Thx guys -------------------------------------------------- "If Eve Was P*rn, It would be a Snuff film, First you get screwed then you get killed" -Me

2-3 Logis and as many BS as possible/you want. Carrier if you want to bring it too, but keep in mind it will spawn more sleeper battleships.

But for you exp guys do you have a Rough DPS output estimate for sleeper ships?
What would be the bare minimum some of you guys use in c5 Mag sites?
I need to get an idea of what I need to build etc -------------------------------------------------- "If Eve Was P*rn, It would be a Snuff film, First you get screwed then you get killed" -Me

Edited by: Timm Tachyon on 10/08/2010 18:08:25 With the anomaly in your Wh you do not want to bring logistics ships. They are a waste of pilots, you want as much dps as possible.
You need 4 battleships with 1 remote rep each. Not Installing local tank will provide space for bigger buffer/resists. If you get your resits to about all 80% the 4 BS should be able to do any sites. And survive the capital spawn long enough for the carrier to lock targets and start repping.
At least thats how our shield tanked gang works. In a no anomaly WH. So a +RR Wh should be kind of easy.

Edited by: Lazarann on 10/08/2010 19:51:03 We use a damnation with all three armor gang links and RR battleships. Each battleship also has an energy transfer and transfers cap to another person in the fleet so we're always cap stable. You can run the sites with five battleship pilots but six is ideal. The Damnation makes a HUGE difference in the strength of your tank. It's also a great meat shield.
You could do this same setup with remote shield rep and a Vulture if you wanted.
EDIT: We also use two carriers when all our pilots are online. Warp in one, kill the bonuses, warp in the second. Stick an active targeter on the carriers so they can keep your whole gang locked. The alpha from the bonus spawns doesn't give you much time to sit and lock people. ---------------- A million faces, each a million lies |
