Cool graph, but is it supposed to move from right-to-left instead of left-to-right
The datapoints on the left side are close to what forge prices are now, the datapoints on the right side seem to be the older prices |

New Indexes added for all PI groups, graphs changed to reflect more conventional layout.

I've made some changes to these spreadsheets, the most important is the Selection is now shown over the last 30 days not 60. This makes it much easier to pick out the movement of individual items in the selection. The removal of the first month cuts out the early spike and therefore scales the individual price movements over the full height of the graph. The Index tab is still shown over 60 days and will be increased as we gain more history data.

I'd already made a similar change in the copy of the spreadsheet that I made. I used 45 days, however, as that removed the spike, yet still showed enough overlap to reveal any monthly oscillations (because of POS fuel cycles).

The basic spread sheet could be adapted to create an index for just about any market group, feel free to copy it and submit new indexes.
Hmmmm. I may give it a try for specific market items. I'm having a hard time finding graphs for key items I want to track (besides in-game of course).

So what are the best PI investments? Materials used to create POS fuel, like Toxic Metals or Consumer Electronics? Or less commonly traded goods?

I noticed that the P2 graph has a different trend than the others. I'd be curious to see that graph with and with out P2 POS fuel products: coolant, enriched uranium, and mechanical parts.

1) There is no weighting in these index, they are straightforward sector movement indexes.
2) I will not be making a P0 Index since I consider it asinine to trade P0 to process into P1.
3) I want to create large tower Indexes for each Empire Tower type but haven't gotten around to it. (I also plan to create a set of Battle ship Index, based on each Factions main Battleship and Home Region.) If you wish to do so, feel free to copy these spreadsheets and modify them. If you do so please share them here.
