I know some features but I'm more interested on the bad side or why lots of people are not joining. I mean, we got a **** load of people in high-sec. Same in 0.0 and almost nothing in low or faction warfare.
It is pvp in low sec afterall. Why are people not joining it... over 50k people I would assume there would be more than 200 daily online in faction warfare ???
THIS IS NOT A FLAME WAR THREAD...im serious about this ----------- at first i was like and then i was like and then we got to the shower scene and i was like and then i was like |

["Devil's Advocate" hat]
Becaaaaause most people are risk adverse and don't like the idea of losing their ships? Or perhaps people simply don't like the idea that they are restricted to certain hi-sec zones. Oooo!! Oooo!! Maybe people just don't care about PvP

Everyone has a reason for doing something and not doing other things. I've seen people complain and leave FW because they think it's too disorganized (pfffft, that's the best part IMO). _______________________

I was getting tired of Eve there for a while, and cancelled one account. Then I decided to join FW, and it's been a kick in the butt! :) Haven't had this much fun in Eve since I started playing! I'll be moving my mains into FW as soon as I can get out of my current corps. The only bad thing I've seen is a nasty faction standing drop against opposing factions, but big whoop. :) I still haver neutral alts that can move stuff around.

Faction standing loss? I've been 2 years in fw shootin enemy npc a lot, and still i can enter enemy highsec with diplomacy 4 skill (if i'll leave militia first ofc). Standing loss is much less than shooting faction rats in lvl4 missions.
In fact if you only pvp in militia you do not lose faction standing at all.

FW is the best way to pvp for a more casual player. It could be much better. The plexing system is very good but because of a few problems with them very few people actually fight for them.
Why more don't join? 1) Some people only want their pvp to consist of ganking pve ships. Actually having a war dec against allot of others who will be flying pvp ships doesn't appeal to them.
2) Some say FW is "blobby." (I put that in quotes because I don't want to discuss what that means) I will agree that, in my experience, I have less chance of having several ships warp on top of the fight if I am fighting a neutral than if I am fighting a militia. But there are allot of smaller gangs and solo pilots in fw.
3) Of those 40k signed on many may just be trade alts or carebears. When you consider how many trade alts or carebear ôisk makersö there are per pvp character fw is actually doing ok.
4) plexing seems to be the designed main event in fw, but it needs some tweaking to be actually fun.
5) There is allot of money to be made in null sec carebear activities. Those snake implants are worth allot of isk. FW missions are just on par with level 4s so no great money making in it. I actually think they are a bit better than level fours but they are not as easy.

His observations are right actually. Mind he was giving resons on "why people don't join fw'. Read & comprehend b4 replying ftw.

Hidden Snake sees things he doesn't like, says "you are stupid" and doesn't actually provide any evidence as to why.
