Edited by: Kisdis on 25/08/2010 20:55:18 Well, your question is ill formed. It should be more like:
Best Friend? Friend? People who think your friends (i.e. people who only know you from in-game)?

5bil+? uhh... ok. Whichever corp you are referring to has to be a really ****ty one if you're willing to betray them for such pocket change. Either that, or you are just a plain douche.
Personally I would only even consider 'betraying' a corporation I am in if they betrayed or wronged me first somehow. A friend, even a less than stellar one, I would never betray.

Current Corp - Price wouldn't matter (wouldn't steal it). But when I think of some of the old corps I been in then 2bill plus. Depends how much isk came into the wallet, if it could multiply quickly then I would sit on it for a while.

Current corp. they'r pretty win, but if they left a State Issue Raven or maybe an Imperial Apoc in the sheilds of a POS, well then I could be persuaded.
As for my friend no she would kill me, then dump me, then find a way to kill me again. If I ever leave the game on while she's around though I think my slicer might disapear.

In my case I can make as much isk as I need pretty much anytime I want, so it would be for something other than the isk value. The two major things I can think of off the top of my head are if they were idiots (e.g. giving my 2 week old alt director and shares after only being in the corp for a week), or for the lulz (if they're a particularly whiney bunch)
For a random corp I was planning on screwing over from the start: Minimum of ~1 billion, but I'd be more interested in cleaning out as many assets as possible % wise (including members, or stealing the entire corp and disbanding it if possible). There's nothing like picturing the expression on the CEOs face when he logs in the next day to find he's been completely cleaned out and removed as CEO.
For an E-friend, probably never. Especially if we'd both trusted each other with things like that in the past. I could imagine a few cases in which I might do it though.
For an RL friend, never. Not because I feel it's more wrong to rip off someone who I could put a face with the name, or would be afraid of RL retribution, but because I would feel like I'd exploited an out of game mechanic to pull off an ingame heist.

Yes, if someone left a tribal tempest inside a POS shield which I have access to it'd be gone, but then again I would argue that any corp I would 'want' to be in would kick the other guy out and not me after said occurrence.

Edited by: OneTimeAt BannedSpank on 25/08/2010 22:48:57 Well, I seem to have a reputation for being a scammer even though I am actually very trustworthy.
CORP? - hard to scam yourself BEST FRIEND? - in eve? NEVER FRIEND? - Might 'hurr I scam u' out of a few million but not out of anything meaningful. 'borrowed' a Brutix off a vague eve friend and never paid for it.
This is fairly ambiguous but I have given direct answers, now I will embellish...
Golden rule is, if I say I wont scam you, I wont.
Any corp I have been a active and caring member of, I have never scammed nor would I wish to. I have however placed alts in other corps and built 'friendships' where I have stolen several billions of ISK in assets over time.
I am still in fairly frequent contact with the first person I made friends with in Eve. At one point I was a 'somewhat inactive' director in their corporation and working within an alliance to take and hold space in 0.0 . At the time I left (to pursue the darker side of Eve) I could have made a good start with a grab of easily 15b+ in ISK, researched capital BPO's and other various assets but this isn't even an option. As such I can at any time have full directorship in a large (not top 5 but sizeable) space holding alliance should I wish to get back into the srs business internet spaceships again. This is worth more than the ISK to me.
I've never been in a corp or alliance I have grown sick of enough to punish by taking their stuff but like I said earlier, I have joined corps with the express intent to grab what I could should the opportunity present it.
While this is well known to friends in Eve, I have still been entrusted with things like delivering faction cruisers to low sec for pirates, moving 500m+ ships for people stuck in wardecs with no alts nearby and also asset relocation from captured 0.0 stations. One person I only vaguely knew gave me easily 5b+ of stuff to jump out when he got kicked from a corp and I upheld the deal with no collateral being considered. Some think this is virtuous, some think I'm dumb but I don't need the ISK and I'm actually a helpful person IRL despite being a bit of an arse in Eve from time to time.
Overall I'm surprised by the trust people have in me given that I do rip people off on occasion.
ALSO: While I'm not posting on my main, I think you know who I am. Laugh away if you need to; just remember to post with your main while you do it

CORP?
Depends on the corp. The skool I take everything anyway and everyone knows it. Any carebear corp I join, I join to rip them off and I would burn my alt for a bil or more (I'll hang on till I can take at least a bil usually). My srus PvP corp is a completely different matter.. I have on 2 occasions used a carebear alt to move over 20B isk worth of ships and modules across highsec in a hauler and not ripped them off (yes, people GAVE me 20B isk with of stuff, and I GAVE it back and didn't even charge).
If I was to rip off my srus PvP corp (whoever that happened to be at the time) we would be talking in the range of 100B isk or more. I would need to be able to buy a new character out of it, preferably one that is better than my current PvP character so I can go back to doing what I like.

My best RL friend doesn't play eve. My 'best friend' in game ripped me off for several billion isk, so I guess I'd rip him off for the same so we were even?
Originally by: omgfreemoniez

RL friends I dont rip off, its just a game and some of them take it a little seriously. In game friends I also don't rip off, but I will tell you I am friends with you if I want to rip you off so this is no way to judge it.

i agree that a carbear corp who hands out director roles willie nill deserves to be robed blind. however, i WONT be the one that takes advantage of it(i wont serve a corp like that ether tho). form a moral stand point currenty is all but useless if i didnt earn it.iv been a mission runner for most of my eve carreer and can make a good 300mil a week if i really need to. the frends i have in eve are of far greater value than any amount of isk i could steal. the bottom line is, eve is not worth playing alone.
and yes this is an alt

Corp: Currently I'm the only person in it, but if I was in a proper corp, they'd have had to do something to seriously hurt my feelings before I'd consider it.
Best friend: Well, she doesn't play EVE, but: there is not enough money in the world.
Friend: There's not enough isk in New Eden for actual betrayal, but if there was some sort of third party profit option, I'd probably arrange it with the friend...
