If you participated in yesterday's mass-test (2nd september), your character on Singularity should have now 2 million free skill points to apply. They will show as unallocated skill points in your character sheet and can be applied to a skill by right-click this skill.
If you participated in the mass test, but you did not get any skillpoints: - If you joined the test too late or left too early: Bad luck, I might have missed you. Try to be there the whole duration in the next test. - You were there the whole time, but still did not get any skillpoints: Post a comment in this thread and I'll check it out.
Any other comments or feedback? Please reply here (do not spam any other threads or forums).
PS: I just heard, that some Singularity clients (specially when using Mac or Linux) might crash, if they have free skillpoints. This bug is caused by the notification for skills, skillpoints or mails and should be fixed with the next patch.

Apologies for hijacking this thread, but seeing as a dev made it......I would like to know when you intend on doing a TQ mirror again as I would dearly love to participate in the testing on a regular basis, sadly my character was inactive at the time of the last mirror so I cannot gain access to SISI. Any info would be great, thanks
P.S This is the character I would like mirrored

If your character has been inactive when the current mirror was made, you can have it reactivated on Sisi by posting here: Linkage
Only newly created accounts have to wait for a mirror.

Just an idea Habakuk....if you guys were offering this as a reward for participating in mass testing (Sisi only of course) you might get a lot more people volunteering and thus have a more effective mass testing. -----

Emphasis on "might". Fact of the matter is people that don't use Singularity will not sacrifice their Tranquility time for SISI skill points that will disappear on next mirror anyway. Hence, at best you would get all the SISI regulars to participate, you would not attract much else.
If you offered say, 50000* SP on Tranquility, now that should attract people. Of course, you'd have to include a condition to prevent the mass tests being overrun with new players in T1 frigates and destroyers, though that might be interesting in itself.
Probably not worth the potential drama, though.
*Less than that seems worthless, more than that might be too much.

Hi. I believe I was there from the beginning to the end. I would appreciate some one looking into that because I haven't received my free skill points. I admit I left before the big fleet fight was completely over, but the extra SPs will help a lot because I worked hard. I skipped work and held my bladder to make sure I could be there. Please look into it.

The character "Resaec Fitsuga" got 2M SP on Singularity like all other participants. It should show up as "unallocated skill points" above the list of skills in your character sheet.

Easy to simulate on a Windows client as well. Simply allocate SP to some skill but just not enough so the skill still needs a few seconds to complete. After allocating SP right click the skill and choose Train Now. Wait a few seconds and EVE will crash. |

Thank you. I found them. I was under the mistaken impression that they were for the Tranquility server. It'll let me test out some skills that I don't yet have.

I cannot find anything in my logs that the character Maverick202 was present in the last mass-test. If any other character participated: please post with this character (or send me an evemail on Singularity). If you wanted to receive skillpoints without participating: good try.
Btw: Today is the next chance to get 2 million skillpoints for participating in a mass-test!

Edited by: Russel Williams on 10/09/2010 09:24:26 Hmm. It would seem that none of my characters got the SP even though I brought 3 accounts(Because of which I ended up crashing in the middle of the first fight at Poitot I and was unable to log back in for a good 2-2 and a half hours). Not sure if it was overlooked or not, though the system is a good concept.
Characters I brought were Mutant Caldari, Mutant Miner and Russel Williams. |
