Hi guys,
A rather simple question but I couldn't find an answer.
If I have put a whole load of goods on the market and the account goes offline, are my items still on the market? (and ergo 'am I still making money?' )
Does someone know this?
Thanks

Yes, they do, that's the whole point of the market, to not have to be online (nor at the specific location, with the proper skills). They even still keep working if your account expires (although they eventually vanish, since max duration you can set is 3 months, and default is just 1 day).
P.S. Of course, if the location you placed your orders has a heavy population of traders (and your order wasn't particularly well-priced), chances are you won't be "making money" at all (not even if you'd be online the whole time) since somebody will keep posting better orders in the exact same location, so yours will never process. _

One guy in Signatures the other day claimed he had left he game for 9 months or so and when he came back he had earned a large sum, I think 15 or 30 bn or similar.
Akita's point re. many traders is void if your price is close to average and over time the price on the item fluctuates considerably around that average. As prices often do ----------------------- "Signatures" chatroom / Hydra Fund / LLSE Stock Market |

Yup, that's why I also said "and your order wasn't particularly well-priced" Slightly lowball buy orders and slightly highball sell orders tend to (eventually) sell. High markups for lazy people FTW _
