Hello,
I could not find any info on anyone else who had this problem, so I am asking if anyone else does and if they know how to fix it. An example of what happens is this (During a mission):
1) I open People & Places and choose the Places tab, I see:
Agent Missions
2) I select it to open it, and see:
Agent Missions -Pirate Activity Revealed -Pirate Activity Revealed --Agent Home Base - xxx --Objective - xxx --Scenario - xxx
3) If I now click again on the Agent Missions folder I see:
Agent Missions -Pirate Activity Revealed
4) If I click a further time on it I see
Agent Missions -Pirate Activity Revealed -Pirate Activity Revealed --Agent Home Base - xxx --Objective - xxx --Scenario - xxx -Pirate Activity Revealed
5) If I click on one of the unopened mission named tabs I see
Agent Missions -Pirate Activity Revealed -Pirate Activity Revealed --Agent Home Base - xxx --Objective - xxx --Scenario - xxx -Pirate Activity Revealed --Agent Home Base - xxx --Objective - xxx --Scenario - xxx -Pirate Activity Revealed --Agent Home Base - xxx --Objective - xxx --Scenario - xxx
As you can see something is wrong. This happens when I am on any mission (of course, the details will differ slightly), and I can see no problems when not on a mission. I am unsure of when it started happening, but it was a while ago, but I was hoping it would just go away.
I have tried deleting all my other bookmarks, but this didnt seem to help. If anyone else has had this problem or if this is a known issue then could you let me know, thanks.

I have exactly the same problem you describe. Tried clearing cache but made no difference. The only way I can navigate to agent bm's is to either use the right-click menu on the main screen or use the links on the mission briefing screen. Very annoying.

Yes, I get this too. I reported it as a bug well before the last patch.

I have this same problem. It started immediately after I changed my bookmarks to sort on jump distance. Now no matter what sort, it behaves the same way.
My work around to get at the mission bookmarks is to open "Agent Missions" then open the first of the two duplicates, then to immediately close that one. This leaves a single set of the mission locations, which I am then able to right-click on to set destination.

It is really annoying.
Anyone else experienceing this? Anyone found a solution?

HM, I find it odd that you are not using your journal for Agent missions: You can find all the info in there (inc locations to go)
Btw, only use the journal OR P&P, not both...
Also, once you are in the system of the mission, r/click just to the left of the system name at top left, and a window will appear with mission bookmarks, as well as any bookmarks you may have already made previously |

Some missions don't have return jump destinations/links when multiple jumps are involved, so you have to use your p&p agent folder. I've had the exact same 'double-posting' problem as well for quite awhile now. I find that if you open the agent folder and then close it the actual links will be shown below.
