WOW some awesome desighns going on there, Front runners for me would be (in no particular order)
Mining vessel REPENT(just an awesome looking design for a mining ship) ORE Seraphim (fantastic design again, id like it to be a BS rather than a destroyer though lol) Gearoid (Again its just a really awesome design for a ship) Type41 Freighter (this class of ship really does need a new fresh look and this would fit the bill nicely) Pegasus (i would love to see a render of this model as im a complete caldari wh**e lol) Majestic (this to me screams Amarr, love the design, the name really does say it all)
there are just so many cool designs to choose from, i dont envy the task of having to pick a winning design, i think a few of these should be rolled in to production, would defo spice things up a lil :D

I like this one from you the most. 2ND is the Amarr luxury Yacht. Minmatar and Gallente designs don't really do much for me personally.
Originally by: Renosha Argaron WOW some awesome desighns going on there, Front runners for me would be (in no particular order)
Mining vessel REPENT(just an awesome looking design for a mining ship) Very nice design indeed! Would make an aesteticly pleasing mining ship though it probably lacks a bit of ORE design philosophy
ORE Seraphim (fantastic design again, id like it to be a BS rather than a destroyer though lol) The artist needs to train reading comprehension lvl 5. He's a damn good artist and i'd love to see the design fly in EVE, but he'll be disqualified...that's all i'll say
Gearoid (Again its just a really awesome design for a ship) Not EVE design by far, the artist probably didn't even research EvE online that much i'm guessing.
Type41 Freighter (this class of ship really does need a new fresh look and this would fit the bill nicely) Not EVE feel IMO, Way too "human piloted/Earth ERA design
Pegasus (i would love to see a render of this model as im a complete caldari wh**e lol) That one is hard to grasp without a more "nuanced" version to bring out the depth a bit. It's indeed hard to picture it without a render since right now it looks just like a stick to me. Bluntly said..
Majestic (this to me screams Amarr, love the design, the name really does say it all) Again, not really EVE design..could use some updates as it's just too smooth imho.
there are just so many cool designs to choose from, i dont envy the task of having to pick a winning design, i think a few of these should be rolled in to production, would defo spice things up a lil :D
And i agree completely with your last remark. It's going to be exiting to see who gets his/her ship into production. Only a few more hours!

Well your idea is original enough but I can't see what end is what and where exactly the modules would go and what they'd do to the design itself. The line art lacks definition to clearly see the thought behind it, imho. ___________

P.S. The boom on the front inserts into the t-3 sub-systems. All the sub-systems have the "locking pattern" on the front and center that corresponds to the boom front. The design at the bottom shows it clear.

submitted my final http://burhtun.deviantart.com/#/d30piwg I wish I knew how to UV map so I could give it a proper texture. Its supposed to have windows/lights on the golden shell as well as all the paneling and whatnot. The lights on the side are individual cubes I just stuck in there. lol. Sigh... oh well, it gets the concept across I guess.

With your explanation the picture becomes more clear to understand the design thoughts behind it. The modules slide over the boom..It was a bit unclear to me since the (shaft on the modules) was depicted smaller compared to the boom on the side illustrations, so i missed that part.
Anyways, contest is over, wonder when we'll get the results....probably Soon(tm)
One thing I also wonder about; since so many people went for a design of one of the 4 main races, it's safe to assume that CCP already has 4 designs in the fridge of which they will drop one to substitute with the winner..But that's a long shot since they didn't limit it to one class but gave it from frig to battleship and I find it harder to believe they have designs of all the classes already. one of the reasons why i chose for a colaboration of the 4 races on my design..all in one with no need to make 3 additional ships and keep the ranks of ships even
Tic Toc i guess.. ___________

I'm at a loss for words. Now I really regret I don't have minmatar skills :(
EDIT: I've found some of my words again! From all of the great designs I've seen, this one is the only one that manages to be both Eve-like and original at an extraordinary extent. I put my money on this one :D _________________________________________________
