I think it would be great to be able to buy and sell skills in a simular fashion as we currently buy and sell characters on the bazaar.
Think about it. The ability to say remove my gunnery 5 and sell it to someone else willing to pay me isk for it. When you think about it, There is already a system setup for this- Character Bazaar. I mean right now I could buy an entire character full of skills for isk and a CCP imposed surcharge.
What I am saying is to take it one step further and let us buy and sell individual skills. Basically the skills would work a lot like a plex does now. You would get a redeemable item after the sale and the skills would inject just like skill books do now. One character looses the skill and the other one gains it.
if overpowering was an issue, CCP could restrict the skills able to be sold to like training time multiplier 1 or something (IE Gunnery, Industry, etc).
I mean we already have people farming isk to buy plexs, to buy clothing, and to buy all the other stuff in Eve. Why not skills too? |

Character bazaar lets you buy a character, complete with all the history and trained skills of it. Buying individual skills would end up the exact same way as buying SP straight up. It would let you pay cash to get an in-game advantage ($ to PLEX, PLEX to ISK, ISK to raw SP in the chosen skill).
tl;dr: P2W is bad and any sane player opposes it. This is a very bad idea. |

mxzf the Character Bazaar is the same thing as P2W in your argument. I pay isk and a surcharge and get a player's time and experiance. If I want to be a carrier pilot my first day in Eve I can pay for that. If I want to have an uber miner/indy toon I can buy that too. How is this any different? Aren't I paying to win when buying a character from the bazaar? Isnt it already an in-game advantage to be able to buy a 100 mil sp toon? |

But you also get that character's history, killboard, and you have to live with the skills they have trained. Your idea would enable to me to bypass one of the major features of the skill training system. Namely that I could have several alts that would allow me to specialize in everything at the same time. |

I also have to disagree with this system. Mostly, I don't really see the benefit. If people NEEDS to be able to fly capital ships tomorrow there is a method already to do that. Why do we need this as well?
Skills "Catch up" quickly, the most you have to spend on any one thing is a month and if you need a suite of skills right now then you can simply buy the character. The only thing you're trying to get out of is waiting, and since when is demanding patience a bad thing? People who know how to wait for it do better than those who cannot. This has been demonstrated by dozens of studies.
The down side of this is the canabalization of stolen or sold characters down to the ground. Not only would their liquid assets be stolen and have to be reinbursed, but so would their very brain. And what of the people who don't know they've bought stolen thought? That's a way to cause bugs the likes of which we've never seen. |

There are a numbe of things wrong with the OPs idea, I will list a few of them here.
1. It's really stupid. No thought has been given to how it would affect the game, just the OP wanting his own pay-to-win.
2. The OP is like 3 weeks old. Hardly enough experience to make such game changing suggestions.
3. Can you imagine the alts training skills just to 'sell' (and by sell, I mean give) to their Mains.

The likelihood of this going anywhere is remote. CCP would lose out on a lot of income because of it.
If it did come out I'd just shift all my skills from my 4 alts to my main and then cancel my 4 alt accounts. This would likely be done by quite a lot of people that have created alts to parallel train things like industry and trading.
