Edited by: Grez on 16/09/2010 01:58:36 Catalyst 10.9's solve the dual monitor issues that users were having with some configurations when playing EVE. I no longer get the flickering mouse, and low FPS when playing (in-fact, my FPS seems to have increased).
Also, Valve is now publishing ATI driver updates via Steam! ---

closer to 300+ if you're silly enough to turn off V-sync, much like most nVidia cards in fact. The drivers aren't any worse or better than nVidia's.

When I tried Eve on the new card, I didn't have the updated drivers installed. I've been given a few suggestions to try if the updated drive hasn't fixed it!
Updates to follow. Emm?"Cant touch this" den der der dum, der dum der dum KILLING THE BUG'S, BEFORE THEY KILL YOU |

At first, I thought how great idea was and that nvidia should've thought of first. But after few minutes of brainstorming, its a very bad idea. ESPECIALLY coming from ATI with their reputation of bad driver releases, your PC is gonna **** up and I'll be the one to laugh at you. Good luck guys. ----------------------------------- Peace through power! |

ATI is no better or worse then Nvidia for drivers now days. They still both mess up now and again. ATI drivers had a bug which gave lower performance and a flickering cursor, Nvidia had drivers which caused fans to fail and cards to overheat.

That reputation is from years and years ago. Since last year and ATI went AMD, they have decent drivers in general. I wouldn't say better than NVIDIA, but I wouldn't say a lot worse. At least they don't release drivers that actually kill their cards, ey ;)? ---
