just as it says. Last month we pay 233k for an office. this month that same office cost 933k. I knew the cost to keep an office was going up each month on some stations, but that is way too much of a 1 month increase. what is the limit? or is there no limit on the increase price.

Now that is nice the landlords are responding to the lmited real estate by hiking their prices up. What could be next labs maybe.

Factory prices are getting to the point that slots are opening and people are using them for real production. Of course I still pay the 40k .
Lab prices are slowly getting there though. -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity. |

Factory slots were ever all rented?
Bad programming I guess, insanely increased rents without any cap to be seen will only result in no-one having any offices at all, was that the idea, to create a moneysİnk then do away with offices as they cost 100M a month?

I think it works this way:
#1 2 or more slots open, price decreases by 10% each 24h period #2 one or none open, price increases by 10% over 24h period
This explains you relative hike in rent (although as faras %s are concerned, it increased over latest period by the same amount as in previous month).
I also noticed one factory slot open in Yulai X - DED yesterday (!!!), but laughed when curiusly tried to see what rent is there.... 6.5mil!
Your Heavy Neutron Blaster II perfectly strikes Serpentis Chief Sentinel, wrecking for 660.4 damage.

In other words, newbies will loose their slots because they can't afford the bill, and the rich will have all the slots they want. When prices will start to drop, simply rent all remaining slots and the prices will skyrocket again.
The way I see it, this si removing content from players.

well having a remote cancel butten on your offices would be nice (we got about 60 offices atm and we are trying to get down to less than 10)
anyway I belive there is also a way for the office rental to drop in price not sure how that happens I imaging its when no one rents a office in a certain period and/or if there are free slots
lab slots are still insane (and no POS lab structures yet )
Thank You Paw Sandberg

I'll have to agree, not a very user friendly system on anyones account, there being a known cap people could plan their expenses better, say 10M for 1.0, 9M for 0.9 and something like 25M for 0.0 locations.
It could use further tweaking for busy systems and bottlenecks, also added social skills to keep the rent down would be desirable. The system in place now look more and more the usual CCP overkill nerfing, using a flamethrower to wipe your nose...
