Well i dunno??
You think you posting you question here will get an epic answer revealed that has never been answered before? Yet asked 500 quadrillion zillion baxillion times infinity times before?
Im sure coincidence and historical spikes in sales pre patches has absolutely nothing to do with it. Oh and people wanting isk?

Because CCP can't get PvP with lazors to work correctly they are going to start emphasising market based PvP are the main focus of the PvP game. This will shine 'a harsh light onto the murky world of' t2 production and CCP will be forced to deal with the 'spivs' that have an unfair advantage there, so t2 BPOs will get abolished.
Or am I confusing the strange fictional economy of Eve with the strange fantasy economy of Britain.

Well, seeing as CCP stated that they are removing T2-BPO's, it's hardly surprising that some people are trying to get rid of them before they are worthless.
I would also like to add that it's stupid to make assumptions based on rumors, and silly forum posts. There is nothing particular going on, and what you are seeing is the market forces at work.

cos t2 bpo's arent hugely profitable anymore unless your the one selling the bpo. for a buy it will take you a very long time to make back the 40bil or so u paid for the t2 bpo.

I don't think people are buying them with the intention of generating the purchase cost in profit.
They'll cover the purchase cost when they resell the BPO a few years later.

this, and the billions in their wallets are probably not generating new isk anyway. Might as well invest it in something generating (still) a healthy return.

Because T2 BPO's are ****? They're a massive investment with limited profits letting you produce only one item untill that item is no longer making any profit. Then you sell the BPO in the hope of getting your money back.
Back in the day, yes, bpo's where a massive isk printing machine.
Now, not so much, people, on the most part, are better off doing invention jobs. --

Agreed (?) Suggestion: Remove the "new topic" button from everywhere apart from the list of topics section within a subforum.
That'd save those with chronic hand/eye coordination some face. |

Let's put it this way : T2 BPOs are a pretty bad investment and whoever wants to make ISK is better off selling them, given their current prices and payoff time-spans. The only exception would be people with so much ISK in their pockets that they couldn't realistically invest a significant portion of it in other traditional ways to make the same paltry profit margin... which is exceedingly rare.

Tell that to the many smart inventors that are making a tidy profit constantly and see how much they laugh in your face. Obligatory link : Linkage

Some still are, but a lot of the ones you see popping up for sale are not the top money makers, that's why they turn up for sale.

Generating theory to fit supposition.
Answer: Seeing the end of EVE players are selling off the investment bound T2 BPO's to acquire more isk with which to purchase PLEX and new characters capable of invention to continue their efforts at T2 via additional characters over simply holding an item that requires constant use to extract the 'value' from it over x time period.
