Based on the patch notes it looks like you still have not been able to fix the ihub reinforce timers that shift after down time. Can we get an et on when that will be fixed? It is starting to get very annoying.
And yes, i've bug reported it several times.

It's you. The 6 month graph seems to be taking data from 2007 and the past year graph is read backwards (most recent on the left) and all the other graphs are keeping steady, apart from the past 3 months, which dropped a bit in June but is now steady.
All of the graphs go right (oldest) to left (newest), not just the past year graph.

As if the UI preserves these settings now lol
But does this mean we actually might get a scalable UI?
If Tyrannis 1.1 is similar to the build that was on Sisi for mass testing this past Saturday, the only window weirdness I noticed was my stacked/pinned chat window group came up as several individual cascaded windows every time I started the client. Other than that, I didn't notice any issues (unless you want to count my GTS250 FPS dropping as low as 5 from 200+ ships' worth of sensor booster effects).
Was annoying to re-stack and re-pin those windows every time though, but not game-breaking. Current TQ client doesn't screw up window sizing/positioning for me.
I also keep hangar items and ships windows stacked but it didn't break those, maybe because I don't keep them pinned?
Disclaimer: I'm a wino.

I would gladly accept the flickering graphics on the mac in exchange for fixing the random client crashes when jumping through gates.
Try explaining to an eve widow that the pc thats hidden under the stairs has to come out cos they cannot program the mac client correctly, nah i couldnt either.
Aside all the complaints - still THE game to play after all this time.
Keep it up CCP

He's rocking a laptop. An HP at that. He can't just "get a new video card" but needs to buy a whole new computer to not have an intel graphics chip. That said, $2000 is outrageous. My $400 netbook didn't come with the dreaded intel GPU and runs Eve well in 90% of the situations (fleet fights bring it to a crawl though).
This signature is useless, but it is red.

A bit underwhelmed by this patch. I wonder if the UI tweaks will fix the infernal chat issue that mashes up sequential chat lines so that they stack on top of one another and can only be fixed by re-sizing the chat window... or the issue where nested (and pinned) chat windows still become un-nested when made active (clicked) during a session change such as jumping a gate.
Next question: what 'features' will CCP introduce with Tyrannis 1.1? I know that CCP's crack regression testing team is diligently slaving away to ensure that currently working things do not break, but...

That's awfully precise, I predict whines will start at 13:41.
Anyway, if you are going to be that precise, you could at least have made the expected completion time 13:37. Surely it's possible to shave off 3 minutes somewhere?
I put in my multi-day skills for the patch.

Laptop owners not always have that possibility. I'd really appreciate if I did not have to live with a crashing client because I cannot use NVidia graphics.

Impressive... most impressive. The 8600/300 maxing out at around 1GB RAM and being a G3 grade processor... I think you might have the model number wrong :)

Mac addicts, flame me if you'd like, but I'd rather hear some intelligent reasons why anyone would choose to use a Mac over other faster, cheaper, more stable systems.
The problem isn't EVE (obviously) and it isn't OS X, which is surprisingly stable. The blame for the mac clients singular failure to behave itself lies squarely at the feet of Transgamming and their Cider wrapper. It is crap. It's internal X11 server is slow, broken and frankly old. It hates sharing the screen with anything as you've discovered and to cap it all off it somehow seems to eat CPU for all three meals when realistically it shouldn't be. To cap it all off I'm pretty certain the version of Cider used in EVE is ancient compared to newer releases (I'm sure Spore had a higher version number than EVE). I've experimented with X11.app & WINE and had vastly improved performance and a happier Mac (not as hot, doesn't mind screen sharing with other apps) and it doesn't crash quite as often as the Cider port. Still crashes though but I can at least jump gates at will.
It's also true that Mac's are deficient when it comes to games. The 9400M in my machine performs way better in Windows than it does in OS X, running the same game (Portal as it happens). On the plus side Valve releasing Mac games has shown these deficiencies and Apple do seem to be working to resolve/update their end of it. So buried somewhere in the kext's and OpenGL libraries is a massive performance hole, sucks but hey... it'll be fixed sooner or later (probably 10.7 knowing Apple).
As to why I brought an Apple and would buy another in a heartbeat? Simple. In a world where salesmen will happily flog painted plastic as mag alloy, hinges break en mass and is classed as 'wear and tear' to avoid fixing it and all other sorts of shenanigans I found the styling of the MBP, the quality of its construction, weight (bad back don't like carting around 'gaming laptops' any more) and its performance to be tempting. I have yet to find my MBP to be not what it was advertised as being.... which having come from Dell is quite refreshing :)
And keep in mind... these days Mac's use Intel processors. I can run Windows just as well as your C2D at home can. So can the Mac at your freelance gig.

Also when will there be improvements to cider or just give us a nice custom wine script because the cpu usage on a mac compared to windows running the eve client is ridiculous. Also please improve the UI for PI i like that you are fixing the crashes on the mac but can you please fix the multiple memory leaks that seem to crash my osx intel machine at the oddest times with no rhyme or reason.

I've been sitting here at my freelance gig in front of a Mac (a 8600/300 w/4 Gigs of RAM) for about 20 minutes now while it attempts to warp a Megathron in Rens to another planet. 20 minutes. At home, on my C2D 1600 running Windows 7, which by all standards should be a lot slower than this Mac, the same operation would take about 2 minutes. If that. In addition, during this warp, the ingame browser will not work. And everything else has ground to a halt. Even the forum **** showcase on PL forums is straining to keep up as I type this. I won't bore you with the laundry list of other problems that I've encountered while working on various Macs, but suffice it to say there have been many, not the least of which is I've never seen a Mac that has run faster than its Wintel counterpart, despite the Macs' faster chip architecture. My Iteron Mk IV with an afterburner runs faster than this apple Vagabond at times. From a productivity standpoint, I don't get how people can claim that the Macintosh is a superior machine.
Mac addicts, flame me if you'd like, but I'd rather hear some intelligent reasons why anyone would choose to use a Mac over other faster, cheaper, more stable systems.
What are you even doing in Rens? Srsly, null or get out.
