While I can't say for certain, I bet we can expect more in the future! Maybe a different author though, I don't think Gonzales works for CCP anymore. |

I read The Empyrean Age, but to be honest I can't even remember what the story was about, aside from it being set in New Eden.
There are way better sci-fi books to read out there.. |

Yeah i loved both EA and T1. Brilliant action scenes and fantastic about updating you about the lore of the game. It is done very well in T1 that it explains enough of the backstory of the character to enable readers to understand what happened in EA. Shame CCP got rid of most of the team. A pity that Asimov is getting outdated. I enjoyed Gonzales books a lot, anyway. |

I got that book, glad to hear it's good!
Currently I'm finishing reading "Empyrean Age", which I'd gotten when it was released but had only read half the book. Tony Gonzales is a fantastic writer and although I don't favor the Gallentean bias he used in writing the book (I'm pure Caldarian =D), if viewed objectively (and tagging the "Broker" character as rumor or nonexistant), it makes for excellent historical literature of the EVE universe. As such, it's still an awesome read, disregarding my virtual loyalties. After I finish the book, gonna read "Templar One"prior to or on the release of Dust 514.
I plan to get "A Burning Life" soon (had actually purchased it from EVE Store but unfortunately it was missing from the package whence received).
As a side note, if you enjoy military sci fi, I recommand checking out the Heritage Trilogy. Great read, all of them. I just saw now that there is also a Legacy Triology and Inheritance Trilogy following after. Gonna have to grab those off eBay! Four year cryosis, reversed.-á Genome; Clone, Second. The Forerunner Saga has the first two books of the trilogy out and I think it's very good. It's written by Greg Bear who is a hard science fiction author as opposed to softer authors that have been used for other Halo books. I would recommend it. |

I recently bought Templar One, but I'm wondering if it's worth reading The Empyrean Age and/or The Burning Life first? |

You want to read Empyrean Age first because many of the Templar One characters appear there. The Burning Life isn't related to any of the two, afaik. |

Also worth reading Ruthless which sets up the Garuishi characters, written by Gonzales in 2005.

Reading this before Templar One provides a good lead up regarding Ishkuone. Gonzales creates the loveable Ishkuone characters there in that seminal work. |
