Hey, one of my accounts notify me of subscription termination on my game login screen. The other account doesn't. Where do I activate the subscription notice in game?

Doesn't exist, so far.
Yes, it's been asked for before. _______________________________

ok thanks. Doesn't make sense that one account does, and the other account can't.

If you are using a non-recurring payment option (such as PLEX, GTC), it will show a notice when your account is close to expiring. If you are using a recurring payment option (such as CC, DD) it will not show a notice since your account won't expire. You will simply be billed again and your subscription will be extended.

To clarify this further, if the account was last activated using a non-recurring payment option such as a GTC, it will show a notice when it will expire within 10 days.
If you were last using a recurring payment option such as credit card, it will not show a notice. If you let the account expire and then reactivate it using a PLEX, it will still not show a notification if the previous non-PLEX payment method was recuring.
To get the notification, you will need to let the account expire, then reactivate the account using a GTC from the Timecode Bazaar. After which you will receive notifications at the character selection screen when you account is about to expire.

ok. The account expired. I got a GM to 1 day reactivate for me, and plexed. This account should now get notifications? My other account was always paid by plexes, so it always got the notifications.

Edited by: Mara Rinn on 30/09/2010 07:15:19 Worth noting: the notification of an imminent renewal due date will be advertised to everyone, regardless of payment type. This may or may not make it into the Winter expansion (currently titled "Incursion").
edit: with thanks to CCP & the CSM, since without the effort by CSM to raise the issue with CCP this might never have happened! Make sure you follow the CSM and vote for a candidate in the next elections. -- [Aussie players: join ANZAC channel] |

No, probably not.
The GM reactivation would not change the account's billing system, so it is still on the Credit Card system, and therefore, there will be no expiration warning at the character selection screen.
If you want to have the warning then you need to let the account expire then arrange for the purchase of a GTC from the time code bazzar.

As long as you have a plex, whether you have it returned to redeem items to avoid trashing it accidentally, or just floating around in a station, you can reactivate an expired account using the account management pages to the left. That way even if your account does accidentally run out, it's a simple matter to reactivate it. And you get up to three days free training out of it too.
