Hello fellow CCP customers,
Well I notice once again CCP is proposing a Mass-Testing on Thursday October 7 @ 20:00 GMT.
Where once again they ask that players give up playing time for to ôtestö several things that you would expect they could simulate to some degree but anyway.
It should also be noted that despite much spin there seems to very little in the way of progress. And in the somewhat desperate drive to introduce cross genre / platform games based on the EVE universe and other dubious updates it would appear that overall we not progressing far in the current EVE universe.
Of course it is CCPÆs game to change as they wish but as customers we have some kind of voice.
And it is in this spirit I would like to ask that paying customers take a moment to think about the quality of product and service that CCP are delivering and the mismatch between expectations through hyped up ôExcellenceö programs and spin doctoring.
And if you find û like I and many others have that BASIC expectations are not being met it may be time for CCP to gain some focus. For me that focus would be simple. While you, your corporation or alliance might not have been on the TQ server on Thursday October 7 from 20:00 GMT maybe you should consider that you should be.
Maybe you should place your effort playing the real version of the game. Think about the opportunity cost of not being on TQ and the lost gaming time you have experienced because of CCPÆs poor testing and change management. More so think about players being on TQ at that time would send a message to CCP that the it would be time to get some basic fundamentals right on changes to TQ before requesting their paying customers jump through hoops for what seems to be PR and giggles.
And this isnÆt a plan to destroy Mass-Testing. It is just a message. I suspect one message would be enough.
Please spread the word.

It is curious to note how people simply abuse but no disagreement as to why this would not send CCP a message they so clearly deserve.
Look at the list of "fixes" planned for today:
* When opening the scanner the alert sound is no longer played. * Windows will now retain their correct size when you open and close them. * You can now view member hangars through the corporate hangar as intended. * Hiding passive modules in the HUD no longer hides all modules. * In the sovereignty dashboard only the first word in the location name was displayed. This has been fixed and the full name is shown correctly. * Resolved an issue where corporations who were part of an alliance had blue alliance stars against corporation members. The correct green star will show for corporation members. * If you moved a window half way off the screen it would bounce back into full view when you opened a new window. This has been fixed. * Certifications now show the level required for component skills. * Chat channels will no longer reset to the default positions every time the client is restarted. * Chat channel logs now show the channel name again as originally intended.
Most of these issues are apparent to the user in about two minutes of game play depending on your various play style.
It is proof that CCP are not testing anything before shoving it out the door.
Send them a message.

Thanks,
But only comments critical of CCP are acted on here.
It is obvious that abuse of people who criticize CCP is not only allowed but encouraged.

i was going to write something long explaining why mass testing is done with real people and why helping a game you really enjoy can make it better for yourself and others is a good thing, but then i remembered that your angry.
i am sorry you feel that way, and i am sorry you feel that going to the mass testing is stupid, but if you enjoy the game, what is an hour or two out of your play time. hell i waste more time spinning my ship then heading to one of the mass testing.
go to the mass testing, or not, your call.

No, you've missed to point. I am saying send CCP a message by paying them the same respect and effort towards mass testing they are showing to testing patches and updates - i.e. none.
I am not calling for an end to mass testing. I am asking people reconsider participation on one occasion to send this message to CCP.
