VIV was founded in 2007. We are a group of fun-loving mature pilots with experience in all walks of eve life. We support the entire range of activities, PVP, small and large gangs, PVE, manufacturing, mining, invention, and a full constellation of upgraded 0.0 systems to work in. We have many experienced pilots who will help you have fun with us.
Join us. It's easy as as 1, 2, 3.
- Join VIV Lounge in game and make yourself known
- Apply in game

Our Founders Philosophy told by
Founding Father and Fleet Admiral Juwi Kotch
Originally by: "Juwi Kotch" First, EVE-Online is a game. Most of us regard this game as a nice past-time, one hobby among others. Secondly, eve-online is a virtual world. Some of us see more in this virtual world then just a possible past-time. They see it as the beginning of a new phase of the evolution of man. They regard themselves as pioneers of a future not yet anticipated by most. While we gladly welcome members to the Vanguard who feel themselves acclined to the first group, Virtual Life Vanguard is in first line made for all those who feel to be one of these pioneers.
The "Imagine" text on the right side of this page is meant to be taken seriously. I not only believe, I'm sure that Cyberspace, that virtual worlds, which are now nothing more then mere online games, will one day be a major part of interaction, work and leisure time in our lives. While realising that EVE Online presently is nothing more then a game as well, this game has a lot of potential to be regarded in the future as one of the first true ancestors of Cyberspace.
I don't know whether living and acting in Cyberspace will become a valid option to spend major parts of life in 25, 50 or 100 years from now, but it will be some time in the foreseeable future. Besides just having fun in EVE and gaming around, the spirit behind being a member in the VIRTUAL LIFE VANGUARD will be to prepare oneself for a future in Cyberspace, to gather knowledge about how to deal with Cyberspace, and to prepare the turf to be able to excel with a headstart when Cyberspace becomes serious one time.
Myself and others of you as well may be too old when this time comes, but we can contribute through passing our experience and knowledge to our children and grandchildren and eventually bequeth them some nicely developed virtual place, where they can enter Cyberspace with a head start.
It is obvious that this setting needs a long time approach, much more long time then a pure gaming community is generally willing to accept. So the VIRTUAL LIFE VANGUARD is set for the long term and will act with the mindset and the pace of people knowing to prepare for a distant future. The VIRTUAL LIFE VANGUARD aims to be the place for all people who see more then just a game in EVE.

We live in 0.0.
It's an interesting experience. It's not for everybody. But we try to get as many people as we can there.
Veteran PVPer, new to 0.0, looking to find out what it's like?
Talk to us.

For those interested in 0.0, PVP and all the fun that entails, I expect to be on most of this weekend and available for chats.
