Bree makes you fat. Just look at Oveur for verification.
Alcohol like vodka on the other hand does not make you fat but unfortunatley if you have no control over your intake it will turn your liver into a crumbly nugget of certain death.

I created a beer recently - Gruit actually with wormwood too. Based on a recipe that is pre-hops, from around 900 AD.
Tastes bad actually and it's got the stoppers of the Grolsch bottles at their design limits. Oh well. Maybe it will make a good marinade.

Depends what I'm having with it. With Mexican food it's Corona, with Sushi it's Asahi, if it's all by itself then I'd probably go for Tuborg Classic or Carlsberg.

I think I have a new favorite booze!
Wild Turkey 101 Proof!
50.5% Alcohol by volume makes it 50.5% awesome by volume.
And unlike Everclear or Bacardi 151, it doesn't taste like ****.
The unfortunate side effect is that even after a few drinks of it, you are a still able to post somewhat coherently. and further more why do i even need a sig? |

This thread has a frightening lack of Hobgoblin and Bombardier. Though I'll drink Corona quite happily.
Just keep Fosters, Stella and Girlsberg away, lest I punch you for trying to poison me.

Corona? Your lack of taste disturbs me. :(
You're basically talking about the equivalent of Budweiser, MGD, and Coors.

It's good for festivals and the like. If it came to a choice between Corona and Carlsberg, I'd go for the Corona every time.

Edited by: Terianna Eri on 06/10/2010 20:15:53 I like guinness, but what I really like is the local brewery down the street run out of someone's back yard, they have a mean stout and IPA.
"Golden City Brewery," the 2nd largest brewery in Golden, CO.. ... ... the largest one being of course the enormous, largest-single-brewery in the world, Coor's brewery down the street and around the corner ________________

I've tried to find a beer that tastes better but it seems impossible. Indian Pale Ale ftw!
Another beer which I love is Samuel Adams Boston Ale. Never liked American beer (I think the water some people call 'Budweiser' has scared me for life. It's not beer ffs!) until I tasted that one.

The best beer in the world comes the Czech Republic, FACT.
You cant beat a Budvar or a Pilsner Urquall for real beer
However up there are also, Tuborg (a nod to my Danish brethern), Guinness (big up the Paddies), Victoria Beer (G'day mates) and finally The Dogs *******s, you can't beat an English ale :D
