Edited by: RiskyFrisky on 07/10/2010 12:48:33 Since I got the game in May of this year. I've spent a total of 745.2 hours playing EVE.
A total of 31.05 Days.
Over a whole month of my life wasted looking at this game in just five months.
Is this a problem?
(Yes I have Asperger's Syndrome and AdHD, and yes I'm anti-Social to an extent.) -

I've averaged about 5 hours/day since I started back in 2003 so imo you're safe for the moment... me on the other hand is doomed!

Wow, I thought I played too much...
I may have the game up and running for 5 hours a day, but I'm not actively playing it that much - I just want the skills to be training.
Wait, the skills train even when the game isn't running!?!?!?! Oh dear, I've wasted soooooo much time... ---------------------------------------------- I don't have an alt, but there's a main that would be upset if he heard me say that... |

320+ days played on wow and counting (That's actual days online, so total of 320+ days x 24h = 7680h + that I spend online in WoW)

That's about 13,400 hours... or 558 days.
That's almost two and a half straight years of playing EVE if you allow seven hours for sleeping and one for food.

Real players only take advantage of DT and the (un)expected server DT/patch/reboot to get food/sleep!

When I finally get a new laptop I'll be playing eve pretty much my entire time at work, given that I work 12 or 24 hour shifts and about 200 hours a month I'll be spending a lot more time in eve during that period. And yes, I really dont do any actual work when I am at work, being a security guard staring at monitors does have its advantages. In the last 5 months of employment I have probably done less than 24 hours of actual work. ----------

hmmm, I forgot how to look that up, I've probably got some terrible anti social statistics there. Of course this over looks the fact that I was probablt afk for roughly %33 of the time, and no where near my computer for %5.

From that same thread:
Originally by: Cambarus 402 days online, if my math is right, I've been playing for 1402 days (a few months shy of 4 years), so 28.67% of each day is spent logged on to eve, or 6.9 hours of each day...
And that's a 4 year average >_>

Lets see...
4 hours per day during the week = 24 hrs. 6 per day during the weekend = 12 hrs. ------------------------------------------- per week = 36 hrs.
X 4 weeks in a month = 144 hrs.
X 7 months = 1008 hrs.
1008 hrs. so far on EVE...
Yeah...I'm a newb.

at one point I was playing 18-20 hours a day for months on end... Needless to say, quality of real-life in proportion to eve-life, was slightly skewed.
