It's right on the border of investment grade and in fact the block that could potentially be insured by a third party would be investment grade.
I'm only arguing that Berikath's declarations include that it is, to him, investment quality (based on the opinions he expressed). This (to me) means he has a different opinion of the bond than the rating you provided, as he appears to believe a "BB" rating would be investment grade, where you do not.
I was simply pointing out that the two of you had different interpretations of what "investment grade" means, apparently.

You're quite correct.
How much of your bond is left to be filled?

1.6 billion.
I'm not butthurt about the grade the bond received, I was simply pointing out that the statement Berikath made about it being a good investment and being rated BB both being "right" to him seemed ironic given your rating being "non-investment grade".

After looking into it, I realized the problem; I was using "investment grade" colloquially, as in "rate of return seems to be higher than the probable rate of failure, so can be looked at as an investment rather than a gamble", while he was using a technical definition which meant..... I dunno, something else.
I didn't read that closely- I assumed all the "blue" ones were investment grade, but notamazing quality o.0 *** Wish list for PI:

It's right on the border of investment grade and in fact the block that could potentially be insured by a third party would be investment grade in my opinion OR based on my own research and rating system
Fixed that for you.

This last post does not match your edit on the 17th of a previous post where you claimed to have recieved investment for a total of 34 bonds. You could you clarify these conflicting statements?

I closed the bond; I changed OP to reflect the amount that was reserved.
At that time, I had not anticipated that anybody who had reserved bonds would then neglect to send said bonds.
In this case, I was mistaken, as Lauren Hellfury has not sent any isk - this puts me in the position of having a 2.4b bond rather than a 3.4b bond.
I hope that makes clear the 'conflict', as there effectively is none.

oops cpnfirmed isk received - reason I didn't notice is that it was paid a few days prior to when I was expecting - so pays before it's due . Apologies Dethmourne for any embarassment this may have caused.

My only issue with this statement is have we actually seen any of Deth's bonds or loans start and finish? Maybe I've missed some but I know I've grown used to seeing a refinance by him fairly regularly. I don't have an issue with Deth but it just seems like his eve market career has been a series of refinances. Is this good or bad or?
My two pennies on this:
FWIW, when I refinanced about 4B of Dethmourne's debt (relatively) recently, he did not approach me, I approached him. At the time it bothered me having billions laying around not working and he was the only MD person whom I had any confidence in investing with. Because of that, and the fact that he was not starting any new offerings, I decided to make an investment opportunity for myself. My refinance of some of his debt was structured as a a coupon+monthly interest which he paid well ahead of what would have been the absolute cheapest for him. Should be noted that I did not put a time limit on my loan to him either.
You can fault Dethmourne for various things, but as far as demonstrable trustworthiness, it is pretty hard to knock the guy.

Thanks for letting me know, we'll get this resolved asap!

My bad, I had to go back further to find the interest payment.
Downside of having to trade too much with my personal wallet :P
