i think it would be really nice to have another faction npc 0.0 region behind known, or in known drone space.
also i would like to see another lowsec-to highsec space behind known boundries, like highsec-lowsec-0.0-lowsec-highsec connection. Imagine highsec above Tenal.
Just a thought..

Why not go even farther?
k-space > w-space > dangerous w-space > deadly w-space < dangerous w-space < w-space < "other" k-space
Let us pass through a long series of wormhole systems and have some hope of coming out on the "other side" into another civilized, tractable area. It'd be kind of like Battlestar Galactica... only after a convoy of fragile ships with no supplies through uncharted space with unknown dangers could you hope to come to a new homeland.

id say id want to see a small region instead ,where there is some aliens on the otherside. and its something like "our world" that theres mostly highsec and some lowsec. and they could maybe have some cool roids for the miners, and some cool new missions for missionrunners. independent market. alien version of concord. very few aliens wants to trade with humans or talk to, but couple mission npc's and no seeded market. so people would need to produce items there and sell on market. would be interesting. tho dont know how they should accept humans blowing up eachothers in highsec because theyr non-understanding of our war agreements.
maybe give theyr rats some meta 4equalent stuff, practicly meta4 but "swapped" grid/cpu and positive effect. so instead of low grid its better bonuses, or worse bonus but alot better fitting req's
50% alien tax (to cover the "safe from war")
tho work needed to implement is way greater than the joy of it. but would be fun if you could find there trough wh exploring.

There's plenty of space already, CCP need to work the "Faction" part into the existing NPC 0.0 space before adding any more of it.

There is not plenty of space dude^^!, Games big Alliances are bound to their income named moons and scap production, thus claiming as much as they can handle and renting out the rest to smaller weaker alliances, .
so Space today is mostly Rented space. Yes there is plenty of empty systems, tho no chance for any free corp to just go there n try to settle just like that, even if they would promise to not touch the moons.
So a moon- free but still rewarding- behind- the -common- boundrys- npc- 0.0 would be nice.
O something like that

It's as you state, there actually is lots of space but the current game mechanics puts too much control and power in the hands of the large alliance of alliances. So, it isn't more space that's needed it mechanics that force or at least motivate the break up of huge NAP crazy alliances and increase the viability of smaller corps out in Null Sec.
Here's a few things that would help...
1)Remove Local Chat 2)Make gate camping on the blind side of the jump much harder (100km random jump in radius) 3)Ships or devices that can destroy/threaten Cap ships without being Cap ships themselves. Heavy Bombers, Mines, or something. 4)Mechanics that strongly motivate conflict between sov. holders. Not necessarily a need to take each others space, but to take something from it. Something that is zero sum, in that if one gains the other loses, and it can only benefit a certain amount of players and thus cannot be shared.
As to existing NPC Null Sec the current way that works is terrible, It's supposed to be that NPCs territory and yet most of the players that live there in those NPCs stations are there just to farm those same NPCs. Lore wise it's ridiculous, game play wise it's just more boring PvE farming.. No. That space should be for those players that actually ally with that NPC faction.

I'm all for more space, but I would like it to be something different than just more 0.0 space. (and no alien highsec pls btw)
For example like 1)several regions far outside known space, without stargates but with fixed or atleast periodically fixed locations (you would have to either shoot some cyno drones towards them when you somehow scanned them down, or use some Sleeper ship to jump directly when two systems are close together)(this is similar to the wormhole-network, though not entirely the same) or 2)Something like the EVE-gate re-opens to a new part of the universe, but you could only get through with a frigate with only ammuniton and blueprints in its cargohold, so you would have to build something new there (though there has to be a kind of industrial frigate that would be able to produce basic goods and bigger factories)

If EVE was like this I would quit sex.
