* Move Support * Mouse & Keyboard Support
I know DUST 514 is coming in to fill the console side of the EVE-Universe in a console-game kind of way. But doesn't it feel a little backwards to put a FPS title on a Console when PC's are best for that? In any case, I only play FPS games with Mouse & Keyboard, and bought the Move as a compromise.
I will buy DUST 514, guaranteed, if there is Move and/or Mouse & Keyboard support.
And as for DUST 514 in general, please don't forget epic-aerial battles, reminiscient of Warhawk but with EVE-styled fighter ships for each of the races. kthnxbai

No. No. No. Move does not need to be shoehorned into another FPS, and we don't need to watch that idiotic Move warning screen everytime we boot DUST.
DO remember to let us set L1/R1 as sights and fire, the L2/R2 buttons on that controller are a disgrace.

Mouse and Keyboard.... NO.
Learn some dexterity!
"FPS title on a Console when PC's are best for that"
I'm not gunna start the flame war.. HOWEVER... If you can't use a controller to be good at an FPS on console, thats not my fault

Afaik these new consoles have usb holes. Coincidentally, some keyboards/mice (i.e. nearly all of them) have usb plugs. I think you can see where I'm going with this... ---

mouse and keyb support i agree with on the basis that while dexterity as mentioned is all well and good, fps is still going to be faster and more accurate with these inputs compared to a controller.
Having said that, i did find that Fallout 3 was more fun and felt easier on the xbox. "Grammatically, the word 'nothing' is a noun, which suggests that it refers to something." - Wikipedia |

This is why you can't have a keyboard and mouse set up playing against a console controller set up.

Ummm yeah, have any of you even tried plugging in your USB keyboard and mouse?
The PS3 has USB support for both mouse and keyboard and it works just fine.
I use it all the time when surfing the web.
Try it.

Though I am inclined to agree that in a joined environment, a mouse/keyboard user would beat a controller user... that's just from gut feeling with no evidence. Have you ever seen anything but the hearsay in the link to give us a more concrete conclusion on the matter?

Mouse & Keyboard has been and still is superior for first or third person shooters. It would be foolish not to release Dust 514 on PC. Seeing as their current loyal customer base is currently playing on PCs.
I do see the reason to also put it on consoles, just no reason to ONLY put it on consoles.

Of course, and having to work weekends for no pay is better than paid days off, too.
Anyway, too many console FPSers are taking this cookie and running with it. It would be foolish to leave areas of the market untapped (which is why they are hitting the console right now). Given the clear nature of their strategy, I doubt they will not release it for PC.
The only reason I can think of not to release it on PC is because PC gamers will have a general advantage due to hardware and controls.

Can't they just tweak it a bit so that the DUST PC users can only connect to other PC users and PS3/Box users can only connect to other PS3/Box users? Or would that create more problems?
