A corp buddy and I were having fun doing some ratting and checking out a wormhole that he had scanned. The wormhole was coming to the end of its like, 25% of its time left. I decided to have a gander and check out what was on the other side.
Soon after I passed through the wormhole collapsed leaving me in unnamed null sec where there are no asteroid belts. I did eventually find a medium sized corp station that immediately fired on me.
Basically, I'm just in a BC and have no way of getting out. I sent the CEO of the corp a letter asking for help, but I fear I may be made into sport.
So basically, I'm asking for advice. Has this happened to anyone else? Whats the best thing I can do?
Thanks.

With no probes you have 3 options
1. Hope the corp is nice and helps you 2. Hope some WH rescue group finds you 3. Pod yourself
Options 1 and 2 will probably cost a good amount of ISK. Option 2 could take a few days to weeks. Option 3 could be expensive, but unless you have the time to wait for help, it's probably your best option.

Fast and easy way: jump out of ship and self destruct pod.
Slow way: Wait for a reply to your mail or other help and post the WH sig here. (And hope that IF you get found, you will not be ganked ^_^)
If a Wormhole says "end of lifetime" it is kinda stupid to go in for any time consuming activities. It could collapse in 4 hours or in a couple of minutes as far as I know. Always have a prober with you and let him leave a hole last. Holes can also collapse due to losing stability by many ships passing through it. Check what it says on that subject as well before entering.

Unless the owners of the wormhole want to help you (and they won't) or some random explorers feel like throwing you a bone (and they won't) then it's the only way out if you can't scan down another wormhole.

Don't go in an end-of-life wormhole unless it's your home system. End of.

Your only real hope is that the locals are friendly enough to take a bribe and show you the way out. Of course it is just as likely, if not more so that the locals will just send you on your way via the pod-express. ----------

Alright. Thanks everyone.
Basically I'll wait for a response and depending on how that ends up, either 'be happy' or pod myself.

Once I had 100% wormhole signature using only On-board Scanner /system scan tab (without any probes). Try to use it. Of course, it is not perfect and chances are very low, but you can try.
On YouTube I saw tutorial how to scan using on-board scanner for directional scan. try scanning both ways.
Who knows what your luck is.

Your battlecruiser is probably not worth this topic, nor the troubles to get out.

Yeah... but the implants might be worth.
The first response is pretty much it.

What has been dumbed cannot be undumbed. Never go into a wormhole solo without a prober. If you cannot think of that, you basically fail at eve.

So are you in WH space or null-sec? If its just null-sec then just set destination to home and start heading that way. You might get ganked on the way home but that life in null :) -The sword is only as sharp as the one who wields it. Drenzul (My normal internet tag) |

If you had just come through the wormhole, that wormhole will automatically show up as 100% on the onboard scanner and be insta relock with probes.

Find an asteroid and overload everything on that bad boy, then try and make a run for high sec space and if your ship gets destroyed its costs them to repair the damaged stuff and you can warp off with your pod for the remainder. - thats how i would do it in your position :p --------------------------------------------
