will this put an end to the optional patch series or will Tyrannis 1.2 be deployed without Tyrannis 1.1 being fixed?

Really looking forward to the API updates - thank you very much!
Will there be a new static database dump released as well?
Thanks!

After 6 UI Patch updates the containers still do not remember thier previous postions, anybody want to bet it will not be fixed in Tyrannis 1.2.

I wonder if the wider numbers will require updates for programs such as EVEMon and EFT.

Nope. I don't think it's over either.
However, when the patching saga starts again... it'll be patch 1 of something new and shiny (release 1.2) rather than patch 7, 8 or 9 of something old and broken (1.1). This will be less embarrassing for CCP and everyone can pretend that this isn't really patch 7 with the 64-bit stuff added to make it credible.

Sigh ... maybe I should take up bridge.

I still don't see a fix for the 7-year old UI bug where clicking in the scrollbar trough away from the thumb makes the thumb advance to the click position, instead of advancing one page-worth toward the click position. With proportional thumb/trough sizes in the scrollbar, the logical behaviour for at least one type of mouse click, ideally left-mouse, would be to do this - allowing for rapid and precise paging through long scrollable window content. It's mostly what happens in Windows, MacOSX, most Unix/Linux apps, so why not Eve?

It would be nice if on the list of features there was some indication of what is getting updated on Tuesday, and what items are 'supposedly' already sorted through optional patch, er, hang on, 6.
Some of the bugs that you say in previous threads have been cleared by patch #6, are still evident for some. Does this update include new code to sort this? or is it the existing patch 6 code just in amongst everything else?

Yes it will. Especially EFT as it will need to add all the faction items to it's list, and hopefully every item will also have it's game description listed too. |

Only in optional patch 1.2.1 or 1.2.2 failing that it will be swept away on expansion day and replaced with a flury of, erm; Incursion 1.1 .1 .2 .3 non-optional patches,,,,maybe? But we've lived through them before and will again. Just hang in there, grin and bear it.

STILL no fix for EVE mail screwing up messages? Seriously? Press Return twice after you type a couple lines and it's bloody obvious. Who's testing these patches? I really hope this is fixed in 1.2 and you simply forgot to add it to the release notes, otherwise this is pretty pathetic.

Thank god, i was getting tired of being the advocate for this bug.
Will this fix also extend into evemail, notepad, and editing you bio information?
Thanks, Zen
