And just yesterday Reddit threw a tantrum about Jon Stewart not getting down on his knees and worshipping them.
Is it like when a bunch of women live together, and they all start to have PMS on the same days?

Edited by: Aessoroz on 03/11/2010 03:33:35 Test Alliance Please Ignore Declares War Against CCP Engineering Alliance From: CONCORD Sent: 2010.11.03 00:01
Test Alliance Please Ignore has declared war on CCP Engineering Alliance. Within 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved. For your convenience we have included the appropriate CONCORD War Rules:
The weekly cost is 100,000,000.00 ISK and you will receive a bill which needs to be paid promptly to maintain the war. If the bill is not paid before it is due then the war will be cancelled. If the war is cancelled then do not pay any outstanding bills for that war.
When an active war has been cancelled, there is a 24 hour grace period during which you can still be legally attacked.
If you are at war with a corporation that joins an alliance then the war will change from being against the corporation to being against the alliance.
If you are at war with an alliance and a corporation leaves that alliance then you will still be at war with the alliance but also temporarily at war with the corporation that left. The war against the corporation that leaves an alliance lasts 24 hours during this period you can attack them until the war expires.
Should you wish to resume hostilities against such a corporation then you need to declare war again.

Cool Story.
The removal of the TCUs was completely reasonable in this situation, the only problem is that the information was not given out in a timely way and that they did not make it a public policy.

to be honest the TCU removal was stupid CCP just havd to code stuff so when the server is down this things are paused
@ the issue they dint do this when was used for the first time and now out of the blue they do it and that is gay, one can say well one 1h of Dt is not much bla bla bla and a DT like this is allot, if you count the time then every ****ing minute and every ****ing second of unfair advantage counts and CCP shoudl run a query on the data base and destroy every single object that gained 1 minute or a second of advantage from the DT even if was some poor soul pos in a corner of eve
by not doing this CCP put **** on their face again and again for BoB

So Test Alliance put up TCUs just before the extended downtime, someone petitioned that, the TCUs were destroyed.
Then other TCUs which were placed just before DT were brought to the attention of the GMs and they were destroyed too, if they had spent a significant portion of their on lining time in extended downtime?
And this is bad because à ?

The perception in some quarters that CCP are/were favoring the whims of one bloc over another, despite (AFAIK) supposedly having a strict hands-off approach on territorial disputes.
Also the apparent delay in nuking the other TCUs. It is not just impropriety itself which is cause for concern for CCP, but the very appearance of impropriety.
Also because this is supposedly not a new situation (in regards to onlining materiel over an extended downtime) but a new way of handling it without prior discussion/announcement.
The world won't end because of this, but the waters will certainly churn for a little while.

it's only bad because a) it was IT that petitioned b) it was / is an exploit c) it's not that Test Alliance's name was border line d) probably other stuff --
