Originally by: Ti'jitsu Wasn't my command today, was good fights and fun all around. Truly became a cluster in Hasmi with PL and MC capital fleets in the mix. Nice to see the 8th and Amarr coming up for the fight as well and i believe local topped 350 at one point.
Gals have not fielded more then 70 people yet. But we sure attract alot of attention.
Heres to tomorrow!
sadly when we saw those 19 machs we turned tail our guns where wasted there anyway, not even needed to go there to make a difference, was a stupid gank fight, to many people involved this time imo
I for one vote, no PL next time

I can confirm that Vaari from corporation IPHAR contacted PL on the information about MC sc fleet. He pretty much orchestrated today's conflict.

It's not the CDI bro, it's the Gallente's willingness to fight outnumbered 2-1. You think if the situation was reversed or if draketrain and 8th hadn't shown up your Glorious Leader Hidden Snake would still take you into battle?
If anything, it's Hidden Snake and his what was it, 70%? rule that's the main cause we rarely get any good fights with you these days. Hidden Snake has pretty much straight up admitted that he's not looking for good fights, he's looking for ganks.
Just think about that for a moment.

To be fair, I can and do respect Snake's decision not to commit to combat unless he has a better chance of winning than losing. Any competent military commander would do the same.
With that being said, Hidden Snake's stated objective is to find "good fights". He's said it multiple times. What he says and what he does are two different things. As I have said multiple times - and many others have said the same thing - Snake isn't interested in good fights. He's out to bring his 35-man gang down upon a lone Rifter. He's there for the gank, and that's it.
On top of that, your Glorious Leader is so friggin' bad at this game he tries to hide it by multiple posts. Or better yet, claiming CCP needs to fix something (and at the same time, fire people).
Personally, I just wish Snake would fall off the face of the planet. Preferably into a bottomless pit full of man-eating anteaters.

To be honest, and I'll draw flak from it for being former quasi-buddies, I don't agree one bit with Hidden Snake's 70%/gank rule. It's just pathetic and I'm saddened to see he turned the CDI from being a defensive coalition of caldari militia corps into a laughing stock both with his stupid rule and his forum posts. It's part of the reason my corp moved from caldari to amarr.
Hidden Snake...your wolf packs used to be fun and a viable counter vs the constant Gallente carrier hotdrops. RR BS fleets were fun and numbered close to 100 with Gallente being similar, and good fights were had. But your new attitude of running from anything you don't almost certainly will beat is just pathetic and doesn't make you a good FC. Good FCs win fair fights. Great FCs win fights against the odds by using both strategy, tactics and good target calling. You don't win fights anymore, you just get ganks...
Here's some forum pron. Hidden Snake was originally against helping other militia corps, including my own fledgling corp vs external war decs. I had asked him, he said IBS won't help us, and that's when I decided to form the CDI and as an afterthought invited IBS. Since then HS has slowly taken over, mostly cause he's the only FC Caldari had left, and somehow kicked out a majority of the corps that both founded and joined the CDI in subsequent weeks.
I was against helping out the "CDI" in hasmijaala and wanted to gank both Caldari and Gallente in a threewa, but now I'm only a scrub and in the end we figured Gallente would bring a lot more to the fight, including caps, and as such good fights were supposed to be had.

Snake dropped out of militia and tried to get all CDI militia corps to follow him so he could individually dec small Gallente FW corps because IBS cant fight us in a straight up fight, or more importantly refuse to. So in response to his war decs we went after the POS.
Knowing the damage he has done to caldari militia and his attitude towards his enemies and his fellow militia is appalling, im very surprised all this support has come out of the woodwork to help him keep his POS. I have friends within the caldari militia and its pretty common knowledge what everyone thinks of Hidden Snake, his mindset and his "tactics". So i guess we will see what the future brings. But imo CDI alliance (just IBS) is doing more harm to FW then good. And hidden has paid for that in the loss of most of his good pilots to other caldari corps.

Not to sound harsh or anything but you boast here, after initial defeat that "We shall not rest until POS is down or people stop joining my fleet" which puts you into position for public humiliation.
So of course people will come from across Eve universe and shoot at people involved here. It does not matter anymore if the POS goes down or not. Gallente have already lost more ships than the POS is worth so right now it's just a matter of Ehonor if you keep bringing fleets to it.
Some dude from Epirus might have some tips to give...

Funny thing is a couple of us were debating whether or not to take the fleet into what was going to be a massive cluster**** - The Minmatar guys had been bringing stuff into Has to help with the fight do it would have been a bit ****ty of us to not try and do something.
We were going to try and get a fight out of Has, and attempted to get the Minmatar fleet out of the station and into Nag û Slight problem here was the PL Mach gang that jumped in with the Minmatar fleet so we burned to the gate to try and get some reps on them and ball up to minimize losses and had to head back into Hasmijala, we jumped in and Draketrain landed at range (we were primarily range fitted) so we decided what the hell and to go for it anyway there and then and didnÆt expect much else than a royal bumming tbh. û Took a couple down with target switching but the repping of your logis did an awesome job and we than struggled to break much more.
More and more of you guys came in and with the PL gang jumping back in the order was given to bail and lick our wounds, We did notice the PL gang not shooting at the Draketrain gang (maybe cos of an agreement with Nibbles just joining PL and the bit or work Draketrain did with Nibble when in FW, dunno tbh).
Just really glad of the increase in activity tbh and we will keep bringing the fights as well û Glad you guys got a little bit of momentum going now, and hopefully you will keep it up.
Props to you and well played all round.

AFAIK, the MC supers were the only reason for PL coming there, dunno why the MC was there, they ganked one of snakes carriers and a bit later eddies carrier in Tama. Dunno if they were there just for that. The first time PL warped to gate, we pulled some gtfo maneuvers, at least I had no intel of being blue to anyone else than the amarr negative sec status guys, if any.
Anyways, was expecting some funny 3-5 way stuff going on between the militias, balex, 8th order, pl and mc. MC didn't seem to have any sort of regular fleet in Hasmi but with bridges and whatnot you never know. Funny stuff tbh. -b |

Yeh, we'd have done the same gtfo manouver but it would have meant leaving the minmatar part of our fleet hung out to dry (which no way would we do).
Dont know if MC were using Has as a staging point or had some other plan they were running with but it sure made things interesting - And agree with PL being there for the supercap kills initially. Was funny at first with both sides accusing each other of bringing in MC and wondering wtf was going on!

The 2nd Battle of Hasmijaala
Waking up from the party in presidents office in Ladistier is always good since you know someone else will clean up the mess. Communications network was flashing with reports that Hasmijaala control tower (having been saved and repaired less than 12h before) was under attack, again.
Questions in corp chat quickly determined that people had interest to join in defence instead of usual 0.0 roam so Draep pledged support for the upcoming operation. Hidden Snake would not be present to lead the op so First General FIRST GENERAL had been drafted for the job.
While tower was coming out of reinforced status, Draep sat in Villore and destroyed gallentes who were hauling material and ships in preparation for the evening. Even Hidden Snake issue Lachesis was unable to evade the blockade.
There was a risk that people were actually coming bit too comfortable with ganks and it took a herculean effort from FC to get everyone to stop messing around in high-sec and form a fleet.
Since we didnt know what to expect we formed a usual fleet and psyched ourselves up with proper music. Having updated our clones and loaded up with ammo, fleet headed to Old Man Star with initial plan to intercept Gallentes who would be moving to staging areas.
Much to our dismay, pipes were mainly clear except for small ships which our gang was ill-suited to tackle. Even more worrying was the fact that Hasmijaala local had lots of Mercenary Coalition in it and that there were several super carriers in their own staging pos, hungrily eyeing the Caldari capitals and ships huddling around Snakes pos.
We warned about the supercaps on intel channels. There was no reaction and our scout soon said öMercs are going global on Snakes tower and, oh, there went their carrierö. Few minutes later I was convoed by Caldari militia member who said they got dropped by supercarriers. Nice to see intel moving along.
We once had mercenary contract against MC so we decided to hint on various intel channels that there are super carriers outside pos shields, hoping that someone would pick up the batphone and make sure we got some kind of fight in Hasmijaala instead of capital ships online.
Draep fleet continued to Tama and met a pirate battleship+guardian gang at Sujarento gate in Tama. Pirates lost typhoon, scorpion and hyperion before they managed to de-aggro and flee to Sujarento. No losses were taken by us. Draep moved on to Nisuwa and local only had 15 hostiles and nothing in space. We returned to Tama at the same time as pirates but we only saw them on scan and didnt get a rematch.
Fleet decided to take a break and docked up in Deven. After the break, one more corporation member wanted to join with the fleet. I advised caution and suggested that he should go to Oshaima via high-sec where we could pick him up. CEO would not have any of that bullcrap since Villore was only 3j out.
As somewhat expected, our drake got killed immediately upon entering Heydieles. Reason for this was a large gang of Balkan Express. We moved to Heydieles but Balex had left the gates. We also met with Amarr gang who said they got badly beaten by Balex as well.

PART 2
At this stage the pos was out of reinforced and we moved to wait into Nagamanen to see what MC would do. Nervous mexican stand-off ensued as no side wanted to make the first move. Then we got intel that Gallentes were finally moving out from Heydieles with gang of around 30 battleships and battlecruisers. At the same time, someone had picked up the batphone and Batman arrived to the field. Games were afoot.
Leaving the big boys to duke it out, Draep fleet moved to Deven gate to intercept Gallentes. Soon the fleet jumped on us and we opened fire. Gallentes quickly lost a hurricane while their tacklers were chased off by drones and missiles but one stiletto was not fast enough and exploded. At this stage they got a warp in on us so fleet warped out into new position. No losses were suffered (except few drones).
Aggro timer ticket out and we saw Hasmijaala gate was clear on this side. Intel from other side also revealed gate was clear and that Batman had destroyed MC supercapital. We jumped into Hasmijaala and with Amarr, took up positions at the gate, expecting gallente to jump in.
Unfortunately, it was not to be and Batman drove past us to gate in his machariel, destroying few slower Amarrs in the process before they could escape. Soon we saw local drop as Batman jumped into Nagamanen and our scout laughed out loud as he saw the combined Gallente/Minmatar fleet getting badly hammered.
We quickly warped at range and overheated the warp disruptors of our lachesis to catch any hostiles who jumped to other side. Pretty soon the fleet appeared and did a fleet warp out. We catched tempest, raven and more importantly a hurricane which we assumed was piloted by the FC of the combined fleet.
Due to some fine piloting, the raven managed to get away from our clutches or jumped back to Nagamanen. Either way he survived by our knowledge. Hurricane and tempest were not as lucky and as soon as Batman returned, we warped out and let him finish off the two stranded ships.
At this stage Caldari had started to repair the POS as MC had evacuted the system and it was unlikely that Batman would care much about the pos since they achieved a supercarrier kill which they probably came here for anyway.
Draep warped back to Nagamanen gate and held position. Quite soon Gallente/Minmatar fleet warped to gate and engaged us in battle. I communicated this to Caldari and Amarr who were still in system. Our logistics worked well and none of the Draep ships was in any danger and we picked off smaller ships which the logistics of the enemy could not save.
At this stage Caldari had changed their pos repair ships to combat ships and landed on the field along with the Amarr and the battle which has rarely seen in low-sec started. Lag became extremely bad and there was problem with ships responding to commands.
Despite our best efforts, we did take a single loss as one of our drakes finally melted under the combined firepower of the Gallente/Minmatar. Bulk of the other losses seemed to occur to Amarr as their assault cruisers were not as sturdy as our drakes and not blessed with as long range as the missiles.
Eventually the Gallente/Matar fleet was destroyed, with some escaping back to Nagamanen. Draep saluted all friendlies on the field and decided to skip any looting/salvaging as our losses were a single drake and Hidden Snakes guys were going to need a new carrier anyway. Draep flew to Oshaima, docked up and called it a day.
Here's waiting for 3rd reinforce timer.

You guys wanna know the best part? Just got word that PL and MC were blue but the PL FC didn't know that and melted the Hel. The Hel was reimbursed by PL.
Best of my knowledge no one hired anyone (except OWN Alliance apparently), MC was drawn to that low sec area to support their contracts' operations (they are staging near Tribute) but, either someone tipped them or one of their scouts saw the carriers/big fight at that POS and decided to take a piece of the action. They have been hotdropping all over low sec ganking caps.
And with this thread here and intel posted in "other" public forums... Yea... I think our little low sec area will see some unfriendly faces for the next days trying to get a piece of us, LOLFW guys... :\

I very rarely come to Eve-O forums (the trolling and smack isn't my cup of tea), but i have to make an exception today.
I have to say a HUGE thankyou to everyone who answered the spam mails about getting this thing together over the last 2 days. Our corp lads worked endlessly to get the tower back up each day so we could have the fun with it that we did. PL were great in scaring off the threat of MC busting our party.
The Gallente were brilliant, not once, not even twice, but 3 times they came at us with shockingly lower numbers or DPS, and they didn't stop until they had nothing to fight with.
The real winner of the struggle was FW; both sides re-energised their respective militias, and showed they still have the hunger.
Gratz to all.

BTW Good Fight to all. What happened in Hasmijaala was historic in the Caldari/Gallente War. Never in my memory have the Ammar, Gallente, Caldari and Minmatar had a four way royal rumble WWF style with a few suprise entrances by Merc Coalition and Pandamic Legion. A true Battle Royal that will be told through the months to come. To any and all that was part of this fight be proud, You just made Faction War History.
