Hello,
I've been thinking recently if i should train for one of this ships; i was wondering a few things:
- Can they go into Empire?
- Of all 4 races, is there one that can be called the best?
- Is there a difference on "how far" they can jump?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help

Yes they can enter Hi sec and can jump from High sec but can't jump to High sec.
Yes the Rhea is the best JF due to largest cargo space.
No they all jump the same distance dependant on skill.

Unless for some odd reason cap recharge meant something to you...

Well if capacitor is all you care about: Nomad > Rhea, Anshar > Ark. Rhea and Anshar have the same size capacitor and recharge rate, of course the Rhea hauls more. If you only jump station-to-station it doesn't matter, as your cap is fully recharged when you undock.
The Rhea has the highest fuel consumption, and the Nomad the lowest.
Also, if you don't need to haul a full load, a Rorqual hauls about 150,000 m3 and is less than half the price of a jump freighter.
My Rorqual pilot is also a Rhea pilot.

If you are concerned about cap recharge rate on a Jump Freighter, you are using it wrong.
You should never, ever be in a position where a faster recharge rate would be an advantage, you can dock in stations to recharge cap and if you are jumping to a POS or Cyno beacon the system should be safe and scouted.

No Rorqual is the one, an Orca isn't fitted with a jump drive.

You have a point about scouting and safe jumping, but your blanket "cap recharge dosen't matter, your doing it wrong" statement is overly generalized and in my opinion, flat out wrong.
Eg:
Doing a multi jump logistics run that you want to do in the least amount of time possible? Fast recharge is an advantage here.
Need to do several jumps to help pull your alliance assets out of 0.0 as fast as possible? faster recharge wins here too.
Waiting at a Cyno beacon and you hear over coms that a big fleet is heading your way fast? Yup faster recharge wins again.
OP: Get the ship that suits your needs. Figure out what is important to you in the use of your ship, and then follow this rough guide I just threw together:
Speed and low fuel consumption: Nomad Cargo lifting: Rhea Effective hit points: Anshar Good mix of everything and looks cool: Ark |

Most of the time recharge isn't a concern, but there are times it matters a lot. Like when you accidentally bounce off a station or your cyno gets killed before the jump is complete and you wind up in a random location. Being able to jump back out quickly could make all the difference. Also, keep in mind they have different velocity, so if you have to close the last bit of distance to a POS or station, better velocity means less time hanging in the wind.
Rheas are good enough for most purposes. However, if I did a lot of POS jumps, I would use a Nomad. Black Frog LogisticsùLosec/Nosec Jump Freighter Services (Division of Red Frog) |

In both these cases, I'd really prefer more cargo to reduce the amount of trips.

Why have you not warped off yet?
The fuel use is interesting though, I never realized there was a difference between them in that, I assumed each type used the same amount just as the other racial versions like other capital classes.

Yeah have a look at the jump drive fuel amounts: Rhea: 3300 Units Nomad: 2700 Units Arc: 2900 Units Anshar: 3100 Units
(these numbers are before skills)
