All of our good posters are sadly gone now that the ISDs have carte blanche to ban everyone they dont like.

I have to say, the idiot(s) who decided volunteer moderation would be a good idea needs a good kick in the head. Take a page from Blizzard: force your moderators to A. not participate in discussion and B. hire them and make them adhere to strict criteria for moderation.

How many times do I have to go over this with you people. My Posting V is no different from your Posting V. Regardless of your start date you can still compete. I took a 2 year break and I'm still up in the rankings.

I don't really track likes per post, simply because I only index each post once, likes per post would require me to update/scan ALL posts all the time. Hence this will be quite impossible from my side, unless I actually re-scan all posts that I check - which in that case only happens as long as the thread stays on the first page (or in some foums, the first 3 pages).

I do however track likes overall, so that I think is the closest we can come - you could always use that to divide by total number of posts to get a sort of "like average" however we'd need to get a formula to use to make it usable, else you'd get someone to make one post and get 10 likes on that and you'd have a pretty good average compared to those of us that posted well before likes were introduced.

Well that's because Dark Shikari wasn't human. Even so I figure if Floppy ups his post per day but a factor of 8 he should be able to close the gap very quickly.

Chribba: the likes/post thing could just take total likes / total posts. No need to index anything extra.

A simple list of "most likes" would be interesting as well.

So you only do your job when it suits you? Another prime example of why you're not fit for the responsibilities you've been given. You're also really stretching hard to insinuate that the need for a metaphorical kick in the head is in any way, shape, or form a threat or attempt at incitement of violence. Especially when anyone with a firm grasp of English would understand a rather vanilla attempt to illustrate the stupidity behind the decision that made you an ISD. The fact you felt a need to make this stretch and distortion of what is really happening in order to try and bully me into being nice is pretty sad and rather good at illustrating my point.



In the future I think you should follow your own advice. I was responding to the OP that we've lost some great and prolific posters due to bad decisions and frankly awful moderation. It was on topic and your presence and post has de-railed the discussion. Thanks for that buddy :thumbsup:
