ok heres my question, new to poses whats the most efficient way of loading ammo, I onlined all my guns then had to go to each one to load ammo which is both inefficient and it doesnt show which ones have ammo. I know I cant load ammo before I anchor which means guns are 35 km from tower once i anchor them and I have to go to each one and since I cant name them hard to see which ones i've loaded ammo. any suggestions?

Keep it simple. Bring ammo when you go online. Add ammo right after onlining. ----- Amicus Morte is recruiting. Dive into the world of 0.0 !

i would recomend this procedure as well. otherwise you will forget to load ammo in some guns. And onlined gun with no ammo is useless.

I arrange my defenses in an orderly fashion, not just a blob.
I have top, top ring, middle, bottom ring, bottom. I use the sun as a reference point, and the first battery to the right of it is #1, with others numbered clockwise from there.
As soon as I online a gun, I add ammo to it.
A blockade runner makes filling guns really easy.

Since tracking and optimal are calculated from the tower itself, (not the gun) the only reason to spread out your guns is to defend them from smartbomb attacks. Even if you feel this is necessary, you can make several pockets of small groups of guns to make them easier to load/reload with ammo. What I do is fill them up after they've been anchored and online loaded guns as I go.

QFT. I use the same approach (learned from Tau and Fritz) and it's worked very well for us. We create stacked groupings of guns/ewar at the 4 cardinal points and top/bottom. The blockade runner makes this very easy - it's a long, slow haul otherwise. :)
