There hasn't been any noticeable change in SC "WTS" that I've seen.

There are so many for sale because there have been so many built, the ships are extremely powerful and extremely valuable.
The bomber nerf did nothing to the effectiveness of the ship, they still kick ass.
CCP has perfected the SC, not sure where you get your information, but it is misguided.

Was noticing that too. There's definitely been more WTS threads than usual.
And yeah, they have been nerfed. They suck at shooting subcaps now, apparently FBs now even have trouble hitting moving carriers.

If you look at the sale of Nyx BPOs over the past 6 months, it's pretty close to 1 BPO sold a day, or more, and thats just in 1 region where they are sold.
Add in the other 3 types, plus all the existing BPOs, and it's quite a few ships being built every single day. Also, it's much quicker to build the ships than train to fly them.

Just babies going through the normal cycle of offloading their ships without thinking or understanding for that matter..
No different than when vindicators lost their bbq status and everyone and their pet fish started offloading them. |

What's wrong is that you either get bumped (say by the covert ops that probed you out while you weren't paying attention) and are no longer aligned, or you hit a bubble 100 km from station. Even if the group that catches you can't kill you, there's always enough hostiles in a 20 jump radius to finish the job.
I haven't kept track of supercarrier trading, but if the comments above are true, this sounds like an indication that supply is catching up to demand. In the last Eve economic report, supercarriers were trading about 200 a month. I can see that exhausting demand (since IIRC supercarrier losses were about a tenth the production rate).

ah thanks. so i was right thinking using my sisi bonus SPs to test capitals were a good idea ^^
also if there's a lot of SC being built it's simply because it's profitable. when the alliance have already the infrastructures, it won't cost much more to build SC inside, while profits are really big. ---------------- ** Wormhole Trading ** |

Just the teeny tiny issue of supercaps being unable to dock...

No problem, ask daddy for credit card, buy a pile of PLEX and voila another supercap!

The same problem that happens when a PLEXdiot in his carrier tries to escape to hi sec safety thru the nearby gate.

If builds were started in the relatively peace time before NC went and invaded the DRF they should be coming out now. Maybe there's some renters/pets with extra supply?

I dont care let them all sit there. You cant dock with SC's and you cant bring caps into high sec. I know I am not the only one unwilling to train for a ship that I cant take were I wish. Caps are low sec and lower toys they can keep them too. All of them.
Is it a rock? Point a Lazer at it and profit. Is it a ship? Point a Lazer at it and profit. I dont realy see any differnces here. |

I think this argument is fine for capitals but for supercaps buying one always means either sacrificing one of your main characters or purchasing/training a holding alt.
edit: but then the demographic you are talking about might just let it float empty inside POS shields...
