- overheating * overheating with that small buttons sucks * overheat while cloaked - I know I can't activate a module while cloaked but I whant to activate it directly overheated after decloaking. With a G15 an macros this is no problem but without you can't * you can't see if the overheating cycle will turn off after you clicked on that small icon (i.e. modules are shining red after deactivated)
- modules * there are several named t1 modules which are better than t2 (i.e. 1600mm plates, eccm) * minmatar t2 weapons are better than the faction ones * t2 cap booster are better than faction ones (hint 5 charges) * grouping of reps and hardeners * dd needs tracking - It is the biggest weapon in eve and it is able to hit a 10k dram?
- ships * eos needs a buff (hint 5 heavys)
- pos * fix anchor / unanchor timers * anchor / unanchor que (it's quite a lot of work to create this que and this should be enough) * the 3d navigation sucks * the times were a pos was an feared weapon are long gone. increase the number of controlled weapons with starship defend to 2 per skill level to improve pos defence
- ui * the ui needs a general overhaul * contact menue still sucks (why i have to give someone a standing use corp/ally standing if nothing is given) * the chat is outdated, a general overhaul would be nice

Now that we have editable columns in containers and hangars, it would be great to be able to configure these once and have them apply to all containers and hangars. Similarly, list style (large icon, iconic list, text list) should be global.
2. The selection highlights on item lists are often incorrect.
3. Chat windows still have issues when pinned, especially when grouped with other windows. For example I keep notepad stacked with local and window order changes randomly on login. Leave my windows where I set them!
4. On the agent context menu, the order of options is exactly backwards from what it should be!

* I'd like it if when I create a fleet I'd be made squad commander by default [Could be done the same way as the option dialog for enabling/disabling loot logging. Maybe even in the same dialog, not to show two dialogs for creating a fleet, when both of them are set to "always ask me"]
* The settings for which graphics adapter to use (any maybe resolution as well) should be account-specific [so that account A is always on screen 1 and account B on screen 2]
* I would like to open a window with the contents of the "Autopilot" tab, without switching to the map. [for re-arranging waypoints etc]
* I would like a drag&drop overlay icon when moving/copying bookmarks to see if they will be moved or copied when i release the mouse button. (same as the [+]-icon in Windows when dragging files) [I always forget if it's shift, ctrl+shift, ctrl or what to copy bookmarks]
* The blinking of the character sheet icon after claiming certificates annoys me, why do I have to open it again for it to stop blinking, I was just there
* Why do I have to stop training a skill when I clonejump, can't it pause and resume automatically?

When you 'look at' a ship that you're shooting, and it explodes, the view snaps back to your ship instantly, and you do not see the destruction. I'm sure I remember them fixing this at some point... why is it broken again? So annoying. I always find myself panicking and having to 'look at' a nearby drone or ship and angling the camera so i can see the explosion. Especially bad during FRAPS.

I will not post the plethora I encountered, as all those inconveniences seem to be "by CCP design" and will not get fixed, alas that's what I got responded multiple times when bugreporting. It just doesn't make sense to repeat stuff...
But I'll give you a prominent everyday example nevertheless:
There's a delay being enforced when you try to press the "find contract" button multiple times, right?
The valid reason behind it probably is not to have their database flooded with requests.
The annoyance is that rather than allowing the user to press the button multiple times and have him wait _afterwards_ for a bit (=DB request pending), the user has to wait first, then press the button (GUI access pending).
On user side you have to wait for a GUI element to become accessible, rather than waiting a bit for a queued command to get dealt with after having issued your command.
Having to wait for GUI elements to become accessible is a waste of user time.
On top of that there's the error that sometimes pressing "find contracts" results in an empty result page due to some obvious error, be it timeout or mac client related. So you gotta click "find contracts" multiple times to get any results. And guess what? Yes, you need to wait for the GUI button to become accessible again.
It'd require simple software engineering craftsmanship to get such stuff done right. I can only assume they're lacking it at CCP.

Where's the vertical offset? * The "(Stargate)" text in the overview attached to stargates takes up a lot of space for us trying to be space efficient with lower resolution monitors. * Target painting effect still broken sometimes. * Ships with hull damage won't get the flame effect after undocking until they get hit or some ridiculous delay, I can't show off my Raven's wounds for the missioners of Frarn.

Why do lasers have a 'muzzle flash' now, after they were 'updated'? There appears to be some kind of 'fire' emitting from the turret, and it looks stupid. I preferred the blinding point that existed before. This goes for laser effects in general after the update; animations look unfinished, the sounds have been recycled and it generally feels sloppily done. This is especially true of sleeper lasers, which instead of mysterious new weapons are just buggy particle streams that use the same tachyon-laser sound from 2003. Kinda destroyed the sense of wonder when I first encountered them.

Why are all ships in eve 'balls'? Why can't they be true objects, like in the 2004 game Nexus: The Jupiter Incident? I hate how it messes with the way distances are measured from the edge of the globe, and if you have something like a naglfar or a gallente administration outpost (or anything else that's really tall and thin) - even though you are miles away you are still right next to it because it can only ever be a sphere as far as the physics engine is concerned. This also results in buggy looking targetting painters.

I haven't read any of this thread past the OP so forgive me if this one has been mentions.
Not being able to contract an item due a damaged item.
Pretty much any Hulk that is in service cant be contracted due to the mining crystals. Also various states of slightly dented drones or mildly overheated modules. 1) Make it so we can either repair it remotely (and pay the repair bill so long as repair service is available in the station. 2) Remove the damaged item from the contract. 3) Allow the ship to be contracted "as is" damaged crystals, drones and all.

-HEAT icon should be more accessible (and bigger) at the center of the module Too easy to destroy mods when heating.
DRONES -Should have a short and defined locking range rather than the seemingly unlimited range they have today.

I would promote an idea of adding new effect instead of turning the indicator immediately on or off.
Say, like the rim around the module button fading in and out from light grey to transparent. That would give you the confirmation that your state change is registered and pending, but you would still have proper indicator telling if the module in it's current cycle is heated or not.
Now, that would be nice.
However, if you mean, to be able to terminate heat in mid-cycle, I don't think that can be done without some major hurdles. I also don't quite see how that would be necessary... but that's just me, ofc. -- No expansions before holidays and no release until QA gives it's approval |

Every day something new...
In solar map mode, could we get a button that zooms out fully. Annoying having to mousescroll like crazy after probing down to 0.25 AU. I want to go back to 32 AU after that. Takes 10 secs of mousescrolling.
Did you (CCP) change the backgrounds in solar map mode to something yellow? Anyway, in some angles the background is just too bright (think the sun but not so bad).

- the fact that Khanid and Vherokior characters that looked like southern european or latina in the old character editor now look asian.
It's like you made a Captain Kirk but suddenly you're forced to be Mr Sulu. Extremely annoying. Very anti-immersive.

I've been working on a mini UI change proposal involving the wallet. I spent the last day or two photoshopping everything and it all looks pretty sweet.
I'm wondering if it would be wiser to post the idea in this topic, rather than start a new one.

- the infoscreen for the damage notifications its not really useful if under heavy fire, the info switches too fast (and the log is no option for me either) make a line for incoming damage, second one for outgoing after the lines show 'damage taken / dealt in the last xx seconds' (make xx a costum value, but 10 secs may be good if fixed)

-UI *In laggy constellations/regions in 0.0, blues on many occasions show neutral on the overview. They have no blue standing shown, and alliance/corporation tag does not show. You must show info on the individual to see actual standing/corp/alliance. *Need default tab on info windows. Seems the last tab open is the 1st/2nd/3rd...etc. from the left, instead of that specific tab. *Some pilots/entities have a TON of standings, making the loading of that tab enormously long. *Need better warp-to, keep-at-range, orbit distance options *New EVE font...where is it? :( *Drone damage...in logs?!?!? *Much easier/simpler/faster way to implement Alliance logos. Taking half a year to a year to get one in game is quiet ridiculous. Also need more notification if logo does not pass standards.
-Gameplay *Blasters maybe need to be improved... *More importantly blaster ships need to be improved. Slow armor tanking + close range blasters make them crap compared to ships of other weapon types that can better dictate range. Maybe give them a speed bonus/remove speed nerf on armor rigs, etc. *unnerf nano? ;) *Myrmidon can use 3 heavy drones...the Ishtar can use 5 heavy drones.... Atleast boost Myrm so it can use 4 heavy drones. *Drakes...oh gawd. Do something, anything.. They need to be nerfed, or other BC need to be boosted. *Dreads are pretty much useless now. They are good for shooting some structures and that's about it, even that role is being taken over by the ever increasing supercap blob. *Something to be done with local in nullsec. Not sure what exactly, but free intel does not belong in this game.
-GFX *Nebula backgrounds...when are we going to get new ones? *Old(or something similar) Cyno effect. It was epic, and dramatic. The current one looks like you dropped a rock in a puddle. Bleh....It's the same as the stargate jump effect. Lame. *Sun goes strobe light when a moon/planet or something is in front of it at long distances. *Catalyst. *Stargates randomly turn into a big white blob, most of the time it's an Amarr gate. Think it might have to do with AA. POS shields randomly have white dots around the edge with AA on. *Bring back Gallente pleasure hub station internal... I liked my Quafe ads, highways, and sexy hologram girl. *Remember the dancing POS graphic glitches? Yeah...well now outposts do it. *Scorpion gets a redo, not other crap ships? *Ships bobbing up and down in station. Wtf are they in water?
-Other stuff *Killmails suck at being accurate. *Ship killmails get much detail... Can pod killmails atleast get implants? They have nothing else. *Drone....damage....in...logs!!!

Every time you search something that has a BP you have to choose the item/ship not the BP. EVERY TIME! * Tied for most annoying: The ship model in the middle of the fitting screen, why oh why, does it change angle when you change ship leaving the fitting window open??? If you change ships like 2 times without "manually" doing something about it you'll b looking at the 3rd ship from above! They choose that angle as the default for a reason, so why the heck does it auto-change when you change ship with the window open? I'd get the idea the model was slowly spinning or something, to showcase the ship, but to spin it a bit when you change??
* Quite annoying: You have to wait 30sec to swich ships. It's always the same <waiting...> *click* "DERN!" "...16sec left!" <wait some more> *click* "DERN!" "...1sec left!" "ARGH!"
* Quite annoying: The "agent conversation" window resizes when you decline a mission.
* Pretty annoying: The blue "show charge info" thingy in the fitting interface, I always klick it wanting the turret/launcher info. Idd, why would the charge info be closer to the gun than the info for the gun? I always think "the charge is "on top of" the gun, so the charge info should be the farthest one from the gun.
* A bit annoying: You can't stack modules in the HUD (or whatever it's called) when modules are locked.
