Edited by: MisterNick on 07/12/2010 01:51:27 Ok, first of all I do not want people to simply say Drake, for reasons I shall explain. Now, to get on with it..
I am looking for a suitable battlecruiser for wormhole ops. I am Gallente trained, but neither Gallente BC is really ideal for fighting sleepers, as the Brutix can be a something of a glass cannon, and the Myrmidon, while a tough nut to crack, is drone focused - and we all know what sleepers think of drones.
Now, skilled as I am in Gallente ships, my tanking style is realistically limited to armour tanking for the moment (hence no Drake), so I was thinking Amarr cross-train. The question I ask is: Do I go for Prophecy for the increased armour resistances per BC's level, or the Harbinger for the "gank is tank" theory?
EDIT: It may be worth noting that this would be mainly for small gang operations, not so much solo

Edited by: Culmen on 07/12/2010 02:15:34 It really depends on the question... Do you consider high amounts of fail to be an acceptable ship trait?
If so, then the Prophecy will be an OK ship for you.
Pro-tip: If you fly a Prophecy, fit projectile turrets. The bonus for the Prophecy is 5% reduction in cap use per level, Projectiles use no cap, so that's like having Battlecruisers level XX in the weapons department.
Otherwise the Harb outclasses the Prophecy in every respect, it even tanks better because it has more grid. and further more why do i even need a sig? |

That is what it comes down to I suppose, having had a nose at the specs for the 2 ships. In a moment of uncharacteristic optimism I assumed that the Prophecy must surely exist for some reason

the only time you would EVER want a prophecy over a harbinger is for sheer buffer. Combat cynos, bait, etc, prophecy, anything else, Harbinger.

Let's face it though. This is eve and that happens sometimes. You can drop the EANM II for another Gyro if you want more dps. That will bring you up to 450 DPS.
